What's on the menu today?

We ordered pizza tonight for the first time in a long time b/c it's not a very healthy option. It was very good, so i didn't feel i had wasted my 'unhealthy food treat allowance'. I actually had anchovies on one of the pizzas, which was a first even though I like anchovies I never had it on pizza as the old pizza place did not have them pizza one had anchovies and mushrooms with a nice garlicky crust. viva Dawn!! Pizza two was a mix of several meats and veggies. It was also good, but not anything I hadn't had before. We have lots of left overs. We probably should have just gotten one, but we could not decide. Fortunately, we can freeze pizza and it will be edible at a future date.

@wolfheart AFAIK Dominos still does not have anchovies. Used to work there decades ago and so often order from them. Pizza Boli has bbq, alfredo, seafood, greek and anchovies among other things.
EDIT: @wolfheart As far as I know Pizza Boli is a chain. Not sure how many links...

Only one day late but I had them tonight. Didn't really fancy the croquettes this time though, so I need something else to go with the other pair of kebabs.

Still think the name of the pair I had tonight needs working on by the shop. Chilli Willy?

Yes! 🙂 Chicken enchiladas are a popular Mexican and Tex-Mex dish made of tortillas rolled around a filling of cooked, shredded chicken, then covered in a savory chili-based sauce and cheese before being baked. So good!

Today I made an Indian-inspired curry dish with fresh ginger, red lentils, and coconut milk, served with rice and nann! Both me and my partner are super sick, so hopefully this will make us feel somewhat human again...I'm not a fan of ginger at all, but it really does help when you're sick.

It's a dish made by sauteing onions and garlic, then adding heavy cream and butter, veg stock, sun dried tomatoes (or spinach) and navy beans, then spices like oregano, chili, thyme salt/pepper, whatever you have really - then simmering it for a bit to make a thick sauce, then you eat it with crusty sourdough bread! It's very good!
