Today was the remainder of the pizza and one of those quick microwave macaroni and cheese things (think Easy Mac, but off-brand).

I think I’ll make some Fettucini noodles in butter herb sauce later….mmm….that or more of my Jell-O from yesterday!

I tried a new restaurant today.
First course: pecorino cheese and black pepper pasta with Pink Shrimp Tartare and grey mullet bottarga.
Second course: iberico pork fillet in demi-glace sauce with wild mushrooms and caramelized pears.
The food was excellent, despite being a little expensive.

Cooking a roast tonight. Chicken in bacon, tatties and veg with the must have yorkshire pudding!

I had some moody defrosted food in my last Asda delivery, first time ever ! So I am ploughing through a bag of free sausages , fish fingers and fish cakes right now .

Not looked at a fish cake in 20 years but with prices the way they are , they've slipped back into my meal rotation .

Sausages ,cabbage and mash for Sunday lunch ....except I precooked it last night ...and it smelt really nice...and I was quite stoned . 😵

So I had Sunday dinner at 4am 😉 .

My roo patties turned into roo snitzel and tasted amazing. So of course I will never be able to replicate them 🙄 had some with melted cheese on a plate of salad leaves and beetroot.

You used to be able to buy kangaroo meat in UK supermarkets but I think they all dropped it after animal welfare protesters claimed most kangaroo meat came from wild animals and took place at night without any controls which led to tens of thousands of kangaroos a year not being immediately killed, often surviving for some time with serious injuries.
Does that still happen or is it monitored now?
Is it difficult to farm kangaroos?
