I went on a houseboating trip with 6 rules:
1: You may never refuse a dare. Ever.
2: Play safe!
All dares must never cause outrageous harm or humiliation to the subject.
3: What goes on the water stays on the water
No one may speak about the events that take place on the trip, and attach those events to a name or description of the indivuals involved. This gave people room to have a good time, without fear for repercussions, or damaged reputation.
4: You must always have a drink in your hand. If you see someone without a drink in their hand, you will give them a drink.
This one caused alot of general hilarity.
5: Respect your fellow partyer
Basically, never ruin someone elses good time. No fights, no insults, keep it light-hearted and fun
6: Have Fun!
We actually had a a DJ rig going and we DJ'd to the beach taking some time every 1/2 hour or so to state the rules, and the crowd would generally cheer when the DJ mentioned the 6 rules. We had 3 DJ's on the boat, as our two boats were filled mainly by VIP bar staff from various clubs. Picture about a hundred houseboats lined up on the beach, with each one carrying about 20 people. It was an immense party with a crowd of around 2000 people.
Some of the dares I fulfilled:
Alot of cliff-jumping that still scares the crap out of me when I think on it too much
Going down the waterslide of every boat on the beach - naked, without asking if I could come aboard. This consisted of running up their gangplank and dashing through their boat, right by all the occupants, in a mad rush to reach the roof before anyone could get over their initial disbelief. lol In one case the front door was locked, and I had to climb up the back of their boat from the water. With the number of boats on the beach, this took a suprisingly long time; I'd say it took me over 1/2 hour to complete the mission hehe.
Dancing the lambada with a teddy-bear. I really hammed this one up, grinding like there was no tommorow. haha
Drinking various unearthly concoctions that no bartender should ever have conceived of mixing.
Eating a few harmless insects.
A ton of other racier things that I shouldn't mention due to the PG rating on the board. 😛
I can't remember ever having had so much fun as I had on that trip.
