What's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?

This one time, I had to speak in front of my highschool class in the auditorium. Something like 500 people. That was so scary.

This might sound a bit pathetic and childish, but since I can't think of anything else, I remember seeing this "White Lady" in our backyard. Well, I was seven so it might just be our neighbor. That's what my mom told me.

I got shot in high school, during the middle of lunch time on the school yard, but if i hadn't of been standing where i was when it happened my friend would of got shot instead.

lol yeah i think so to.
Being chased by police is always scary fun, it was only for trespassing tho and they didnt catch us. nothing like being chased to get the adrenalin going.

When my baby daughter stopped moving inside of me. I was in hospital because my blood pressure had risen too high and i was on medication to bring it down (it was also compatible with pregnancy). I was taken for an ultrasound to check her progress as i had 12 weeks left before she was due. Well, she wasn't moving. Her heart was beating but she wasn't moving, wasn't responding to any stimulus and i honestly thought that we were going to lose her. The doctor took a blood sample from her liver through me, which was very uncomfortable and it was discovered that her blood gas was dangerously low.. she was basically dying inside of me. As i was 28 weeks pregnant, she was delivered by emergency c-section. I was taken from the Feotal Medicine Dept of my hospital straight up to the delivery ward. It was like an episode of ER. I was basically preparing myself for the worst possible news. I didn't feel anything, i just shut down emotionally as at that point i felt that there was nothing more that i could do except hope and pray she came out okay.

She came out better than they thought, weighing 2lbs 1oz. She was on ventilation and so tiny. The first night, while i recovered from the c-section, the staff let my husband stay with me which i think, in hindsight was their way of making sure someone was with me if the worst happened. I was moved the next day to a ward with new mums and their healthy term babies, which i found really hard to cope with. I couldn't sleep that first night because i was absolutely convinced a doctor or nurse caring for my daughter would come to tell me she was dying. It was horrible.

But, she survived, she was in hospital for eight weeks, which is four weeks shorter than expected and she was just over 5lbs in weight when we brought her home. She's two now and absolutely perfect, she's caught up developmentally and size-wise to her peers and is just gorgeous 🙂
