...for the remainder of season 8? 37, 38, and 39 are coming out monthly from now on, right, so we'll be finished up in December? Isn't there 1 more one-shot? I can't remember what it is, and when is it coming out?

According to the Dark Horse homepage, the only issues for which the publishing date are already announced are Last Gleaming, parts 2 through 4 (37 - 39), which are due on October 6, November 3 and December 1st, but I'd say the last issue is going to be released in January.
As for another oneshot, I haven't heard of one yet and couldn't find any info on their homepage either.

Maybe I'm wrong about the oneshot. I don't know why I was thinking about one more, but you're right- I don't remember specifics, so maybe Riley is the last one.
I had hoped we'd maybe get ONE more 'one-shot' comic. Perhaps centered on Spike and explaining how he came to be captain of a spaceship full of talking bugs.

A quick Google check confirms you are right! That story will apparerntly be told in the ongoing Spike series from IDW.
I guess I'll have to buy that too. 😛

You know why I got confused? Because the Twilight trade paperback that will be released October 6th contains the Willow one-shot. Obviously the Willow one-shot has been out for quite awhile, but it got something stuck in my mind about another one-shot. I was wrong!
