I'm guessing she'd need to open the hatches to escape the earthquake.
It's at a really beautiful stage now. Hot enough to enjoy and cool enough to walk around in.
 
A magnificent day yesterday for the first London Vintage Radio Club meet after the Wuhan flu plague. It was 27°C/81°F with low humidity. Part way to London Ontario, we ran into fog but that cleared up later. I managed to sell an old DeForest Crosley 602 radio that offers a good workout carrying it and a Sencore sweep generator that I have no use for anymore. The radio went for $50 even though I expected sales resistance at the $30 I had put on it. Our silent auctions work a bit differently from regular auctions - the seller puts his suggested price on the item and if someone offers more than that price, ownership transfers to the highest bidder. If there are lower bids, the seller is offered the opportunity to sell at the lower price and he can say yes or no to it.

Last night was the final car show at a mall south of me for mainly American cars. There were 350 cars there.

Today I am heading out to the British Car Day to be held at Bronte Park. They have had over a thousand cars show up in the past and a lot of exhibitors are going to make up for lost time. It looks cloudy but no rain is expected.
 
Stupid weather here. I feel a bit like Giles, every bloody day is the same. Blue skies and sun. Have started watering the garden again. Booooo!
 
Stupid and hot. But not that hot. Family visiting were a bit in shock about how much hotter the hot is. No sea breeze this far inland! But also not quite as many heatwaves when real summer does hit, being so far south. Everyone was doing burn offs, so town was covered in smoke. It would not have been over 30C today and expected to be 5C tonight, but I doubt it will get that low.
 
It’s been cool here. Definitely that autumnal atmosphere. There are very few positives in my eyes to living where I do, but this time of year is one of them 🙂
 
Beautiful today! Nice and cool and cloudy with a breeze. Maybe a top of 24C, more clouds coming over now 🙂
 
It's warmer now at 7:30 than it was by 11am yesterday, sunny today too
 
It's 9°C/48°F here at 7:18 AM, cloudy with some blue patches of sky. In the past week, there has been rain but never lasting more than ten minutes at a time. In a couple of months, this will be the good old days.
 
14C today. Lovely very light showers and gusty wind. Didnt have to water the garden wooo!
