Well, my username being LazyDolphin, I figured that I ought to have a dolphin on my banner. Since I am a Lazy Dolphin, I had temporary delusions of creating a banner of staggering magnificence, featuring a bottle nosed dolphin flopped on a threadbare chaise lounge, clutching a pint of Guinness in one fist and a Marlboro in the other.
Then I remembered that I have no artistic ability, so I found a cool piece of Pacific Northwest Native American art and I shanghai'd that instead. It happens to be a killer whale and not a dolphin, but what the hell. After all, what's a deviation of Genus amongst Family Delphinidae! Right? Get it, get it! Genus...Family! Bwahahahaha!!! Er....hello? Funny joke? You know, because of that whole thing with phylum and genus and family? Anyone? Oh, damn. I've overstepped my geek bounds. Nooooo! Oh God, even the kids who rode the short bus are going to stuff me in lockers and give me wedgies!! Oh cruel, cruel fate!!
