Yes, unfortunately they are a real thing. They are arguably the ugliest vehicle I've seen, have major issues with quality (8 recalls in three years, 5 of them significant), and can't do much of what Musk has claimed they would do (won't function as a boat, are not bulletproof, can't tow more than a Ford 150, etc.). When I first saw it I described it thus: "When a deLorean and an El Camino love each other very much...").
And none of the above includes any of the political issues surrounding Musk.

More like taking care of a pet. And as time goes on, the pet begins to look like its owner and takes on the owner's personality.
Dark turn to the thread, but as I was heading home from work today the train I was on ran over a woman.
Whether she jumped or fell is unclear, but I was sitting right at the start of the second carriage and could hear the rescue workers! The poor thing was wedged under the train, but somehow, still alive!
Miracle or misery? To be alive after an entire train carriage has gone over you. I donโt know. We were evacuated through emergency exits after a while, so I donโt know how it ended, but I sure hope they managed to rescue that poor woman.

Lorne and Doyle seem to be getting their colours. Lorne was grey and now turning lighter, a pink colour. Doyle is almost double the size of Lorne, and went from grey to a darker grey, almost black! Im not sure if any gold will come through but I expect some because its obvious now that the prettiest pink fish - Stardust - is their mum, and looking at Doyle, Cosmo could be the Dad as he has the most black. I'll guess we will see! And now I have a new thing to read up on - shubunkin colour genetics!

Well, it is really windy out there now and my hair is long enough - I combed my fringe almost down to my mouth after washing it today; it did not stay there - that it now looks a fright.

Well, I am showing my age. Took my ten year old niece shopping for new clothes for her birthday. One of the things we picked out was a midriff sweatshirt and as we came out of the changing room I said to her mom
โSheโs gonna need a tank top under that since itโs so shortโ
And my niece very dramatically rolled her eyes and went โAuuntie! It is s midriff top! Itโs supposed to show your belly!โ
I fear this will only get worse with each shopping trip. ๐ The tables have officially turned.

Slightly off topic, but you've reminded me how over the last 5 - 10 years, I noticed how I was 'aged out' of certain shops I used to frequent. It's a weird feeling.

Yarn is definitely not cheap! Not the stuff you want to wear anyway.
Much cheaper to wear the sweat shop specials. Now those kids know how to make clothes!

The last yarn I bought was for dishcloths! Which I still haven't made...
As an avid knitter I will second that yarn is so not cheap ๐ญ I spend so much money on yarn. Not to mention the hours it takes. Iโm working on three sweaters at the same time because I got a bit anxious about how much yarn I bought (and still want mooore)

I learned how to knit as a kid but never did much of it; I preferred embroidery. Which is a much easier skill to pick up again!
But knitting has seen a rise in popularity enough that it isn't really a signifier of age!
