Whats your Ethnicity?

Just interested to see what kind of nationalities we have on the BB.

By nationalities i dont necessarily mean what country you were born in, but where your family and parents are from.

My parents are and family are Croatian but i was Born in the land of Oz.

My ancestors were Welsh, Irish, Scottish, and Cherokee (at least those are the only ones that we have definite proof of. I'm sure that there are other nationalities back there somewhere), and I am pure, 100% United States of America citizen by birth, and Southerner by the grace of God.

But I've always thought that my dutch roots show through more than the others, I've been told that I look more dutch anyway! Although when I was a little kid and started speaking I SOMEHOW managed to get an english accent until I was about 6 or 7 years old. My parents were a little worried since we didn't have any english friends or family members with an accent, they couldn't figure out where it came from (I guess the 1/4 english would explain it... somehow!)

English (and specifically South West at that) about as far back to 870 on half of my Dad's side. Think there is a tiny bit of French from his other side too. Mum's side is half South West again, but a bit of Scottish and as far as we can tell, Romany - somewhere Russian? So probably about 90% English with a hint of other things 🙂 Born in Bath, lived there until I was 20, the moved a whopping 12 miles to Bristol. I'm never leaving the West Country!

Haven´t researched it too much. But as far back as I know (3 generations) we´re 100% swedish. Think I need to ask lil sis. She´s done some research I think.
