What's your favorite season?

I put this here because I wasn't sure where else to put it, and it seemed fitting to put it in Season 1 (putting the question at the top of the list).
So, what was your favorite season of Buffy? I think that mine is either Season 3 or Season 5, I can't choose which.
(P.S. I did search for a topic like this, but if there is one that I missed, then I'm sorry that I messed up. Also, if this topic belongs someplace else, feel free to move it.)

My favorite is actually season 6, im not sure i can explain why, but i just really liked it, i thought that even though they were you sing metaphors sometimes like magic and drugs, it was all very real, before they would do things that could happen but more like in scenes and not seasons, this season was just...very real to me, but it still had all the mystical stuff we love...plus is has a few of my favorite eps :biggrin:

S6 is closely followed by s5 its great plus in both theres some Willowy tara closeness so thats a plus=)
ANd the body was great along with alot of all the other episodes, s5 is defently on the top of the seasons.

My favorite season of Buffy is definitely season 3. I felt that the character interaction that season was really good. It also has a lot of my favorite episodes and a great season finale. I always loved the part with all the students setting aside their differences and coming together to fight The Mayor.

i'm going to have to go with S6. i love how dark it is, and how far away everyone got from wat they used to be. Dark Willow was an amazing bad guy, i loved her. and the fact that Xander saved the world? loved that! [lus, you know, Spike and Buffy!
S6 has a lot of my favorite eps, like 'Normal Again' 'Once More, With Feeling' 'Tabula Rasa' 'Seeing Red' and 'Grave'
S7 comes in a close second, though...and S8 is looking very promising.

I have this insane fondness for season 7. I have watched it the most out of all the seasons. And even when going thru a marathon, I can be on season 3 with my hunny and I will watch season 7 on the side. After that tho it goes...

I started voting 3, then added 7 and 5.. then 6.. So yeah, 3, 5, 6, 7. Lol. I just can't choose. I love them for very different reasons. Season 3 is kind of perfect as a TV show season, with Faith and the Mayor.. The gang are still close friends and are still having fun together etc. Season 5 I love 'cause it's hilarious. All Anya and Willow season are awesome. Tara has started becoming a character. Spike is back and is great. The Body and The Gift are great episodes. Season 6 is dark, which I love, so many awesome episodes, so depressing... Season 7, well it's the [almost] perfect ending, imo.

Season 5. Though that may just be because I just finished watching it again. Stripped it over a fortnight and absolutely ADORED every second of it (well, except BVD, which just blows). A month or so again I may have said season 4! lol
I love them all, though, really. One of the best things about Buffy IMHO is that each season is so different, and has it's own unique feel and individual story. It's like a series of novels. It's one of the things that makes the show so great for me.
