Which two part story line from BTVS is your favorite?

I can't remember all of these episodes clearly, but graduation day was *such* a good episode. So many things happen, you see Cordy stake her first vamp, Harmony get bitten, and the epic battle scene felt almost Tolkeinish in it's epicness. So much love ^^

Wow, what a list! Seriously, I didn't realize until seeing them all laid out like that how strong the two-parters actually are. Virtually every choice is a candidate. I went with "What's my Line", but it was incredibly tough. I chose it not because it's the "best" set of the series (I think "Becoming" gets the nod there) but because those were the episodes where BTVS really picked up for me. I had enjoyed S1 and liked much of S2 up until that point, but those were the episodes that made me really sit back and just go "wow". I loved the Buffy/Angel stuff (which I always do), Spike was amazing, the Order of Taraka was an interesting concept and it had some great character moments for Buffy.

But man, now that I think about it, not choosing "Becoming" or "Surprise/Innocence" was damn tough...

I went for Bargaining Parts 1&2.

The shock of Willow sitting quietly by a stream then suddenly sacrificing a faun, Buffy being reconstituted in the grave, Buffy wandering around in the clothes she was buried in back in the war-torn world she almost managed to escape, the Scoobies' inability to understand what was going on and Buffy returning to the tower and asking, "Am I in hell?" were all great dramatic moments.

[MENTION=11975]Robb Stark[/MENTION],I'm glad you went with your emotional based personal experience over what the objective "best" pair is. I always like the personal answers the very most. 🙂 My answer was the same way. I chose the body/Eternity not because its the best (even though I think its absolutely one of the best)but rather because of my personal emotional experience with those two episodes,they just truly leave an impression with me. These results,so far,are very diverse and I'm interested to see where this poll goes ultimately. 🙂

Becoming. I never ever get tired of those episodes no matter how often I watch them. Might be a nostalgia thing but they are Btvs for me, more or less 🙂

Graduation Day is my favourite episode overall, so that's my pick for sure

I can't choose between Innocence/Surprise, Becoming 1&2 and Graduation Day 1&2... Those are all so good there's no way I can make a choice.

Even though season 2 is my favorite, I picked Graduation Day because there's a lot of epic-ness there: the fight with Faith, the Bite, the shared dream, the evilness of the Mayor, & the big battle.

Although This Year's Girl & Who Are You is a close runner-up for me.

I went with 'This Year's Girl'/'Who Are You?'. I love Faith, I loved SMG as Faith and ED as Buffy, I thought they were perfect and played each character so brilliantly. (Seriously, ED's timing was perfect, as was her inflection). Everything about these two episodes was just amazingly well done.

I have a hard time picking between Graduation Day and The body/(is it suppose to be Forever?).

I love love The Body, but for some reason, even though I also love Forever, I feel like Forever is not quite on par with some of the other two parters. I don't know if I can call it my favorite if only one of the two episode is my fav (which the Body really is, it's my highest ranked episode out of the ones listed above)

I also have to mention Who are You, I love the play with SMG and ED, brilliant.

Although I love the body and forever, I don't know if I enjoy being made to cry quite that much... Oh Joyce.
