What's your favourite genre of tv watching?

I don't think I have a favourite genre because if I look at my top five shows, I have fantasy shows (Buffy and Angel), sci-fi (Doctor Who) and a medical drama (Grey's Anatomy).
 
Comedy and science fiction for sure

Parks n Rec, The Office, The Expanse, TNG, etc
 
Drama. Anything set in reality. Try to avoid anything sci-fi/fantasy as much as I can. If I have to watch a sci-fi/fantasy it'll be something old and nothing new.
 
Sci Fi for me. I will watch anything sci fi. It doesn't matter if I dont get it, I will probably watch it anyway.
 
Anything escapist: fantasy, sci-fi, and whatever genre Lost is. Emotionally-involving dramas, too. I would say my least favorite is sit-coms, and yet my favorite show on right now is Ghosts.
 
Adventure Reality is one I watch a LOT of during hot days. So along the lines of Alone, Survivor, Im a celeb, Amazing Race is on my tv now.
 
I tend to like more informative type of shows like "How it's Made" or "Modern Marvels", or the "History of" type programs. I also enjoy shows like Lawrence Fishburn's "Greatest Mysteries" series or William Shatner's "Unexplained" series. I've long been burned out on the run of the mill major network sitcoms. Anything that's currently on is just a rehash of what's been done 20-30-40 years ago. Saw it once, not interested in watching it again.

One I have seen advertised that sounds similar to Unexplained and Greatest Mysteries is Lance Reddick's Book of Secrets.

Ah yeah! I have seen some of that. The lady who won Alone Australia was the ex-wife of one of the men who went on it. Naked is a step too far, when all the bits are blurred on tv anyway, at least give them some knickers!

Same, it would be too difficult for me to choose.
Throw in comedy, because with the way the world is I think we could all use a laugh or two.

Ah Friends! I could watch that over and over, but have to admit I've now gone off it since Matt Perry passed. 🙁

Stranger Things, Buffy, Angel, Highlander
Wiseguy, Miami Vice, Magnum Pi, Cobra,
