Sadly I'm medically retired due to a crap load of incurable illnesses, but I used to work in Film and TV.

Also trained as an art teacher before that.

Sorry to hear about that, but what did you used to do in Film and TV? When I was younger I wanted to be like Joss and be a screenwriter
 
Advertising sales rep. I've been selling print solutions forever but now branching out into digital marketing services (adwords, programmatic etc) because of tech changes. The first time the word "googled" was used was on Buffy in 2002 and now my career has been completely changed because of how quickly google & facebook took over the world.

B2B or B2C marketing?
 
There's much more opportunity in B2C it seems.. What do you think about google dropping their side ads and only going with the ones at the top and shop ads? I think it will really hurt some people.
 
I'm lucky. I work for a Google premier partner so we know about that stuff in advance and can plan for it. It's harder when it just happens without warning. It was the right thing to do from google's perspective but it's kind of like "hummingbird" all over again

Well I'm not currently working in my chosen field of profession, I'm a writer. I work in retail right now. And still going to school for a Bachelor's degree in English.

For which job? Do you need a house wired, some TKD lessons, or someone knocked off? I might be persuaded to come out of retirement for a good cause.
I'm a stay at home parent right now (bring on primary school!). Before having the destroyer I was a bar worker and student, studying to be a complementary therapist. I desperately want to go back to education and either further my therapist education or do something involving social care. Or both.
