What kind of guy/girl do you tend to date/crush on/pursue?

There's an episode of my other favorite show Sex and The City that asks the question, "Are we just dating the same person over and over again"? Do you feel like this sometimes?

I like girls who aren't afraid to say something stupid... And who can take sarcasm, 'cause I have lots of it 😀 I like to persue girls who seem like theres always something to talk about... Intellectually, not like gabbing... But yea... That's "My Girl"... 😛

I have realized that I have a "thing" for shy and rather weird girls. Looking back, all my girlfriends have been shy, some painfully shy. Shyness is something I find extremely charming and it's close to a relegious experience for me when a shy girl comes out of her shell and kind of lets me in on all her secrets.

Other than that and the fact that they have all been vegetarians (couldn't smooch a meat-eater) it's been a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

Definately... Shy-ness is a BIG turn-on :P
I tend to like guys who are open-minded and to anything I tell them to. I like when guys are loud, very commanding and sweet. Quiet and shy dosen't work well with me. And quiet people scare me(they turn on you).

Same here Andy. Thay can't be quiet and/or shy. The louder the better.
i tend to go for loud boys .. ones who are louder than me.. but at the mo im off ALL men!😀

Shy is nice, and adorable in girls, its just...nice...i'm shy too so, eh...dark hair...funny, athletic.... :Angel_ani they Have to be good friends, intelligent, creative....fun stuff. 😉

and..i like teases. :Angel_ani which, isn't that bad since i am one, and so is my curret gf....im not sure how much a tease the last girl i liked was.....
and i can't think of any guys at the moment...
its an interesting thought tho

Hmm I lean towards the sporty/artistic/creative/musician type. I'd want someone whos kinda loud but doesn't over do it, but is down to earth and sensitive but not overly sensetive or anything. Its kinda hard to explain lol. Oh and someone who thinks about others, doesn't do drugs or anything like that. I'm a shy person and if i'm not immediatly comfortable with the person its not likely i'm gonna fall for them, and there hasn't really been a lot of people i'm really comfortable with once I meet them, like I met my brothers friend 2, 3 years ago and right away i was comfortable around him, i act like the real spazzy me around him, but hes gay so nothings gonna happen there lol.

Hard-drinking arrogant Irish bastards 😀

Seriously, though, I like a man's man - not really into the musician/artist/in touch with their feelings sort of guy. Someone I can have a conversation with and joke with. And someone who is nice to me 😉 Also, must like Sports.

I'm right with you there hun...well except for the arrogant Irish bastards part... :)
My type is definitely the geeky computer guy with a skewed sense of humor type. That's what I married, and that's always been the type of guy I've been attracted to. When it comes to girls I've always liked women who are blonde and strong-willed (i.e. Buffy lol).

ehe....buff...i've noticed you around...and ahh...you know who's a man's man...not me...

you know the term...a man's man....doesn't it sound gay....a Man's man...it sounds gay to me...

alright...that's some weird taste al...nerdy dudes...and and blondes without a clue...

lol...willow...baby...do you want the kitchen sink with that too??...lol...you know that what you described is like a royal flush...as rare as they come...maybe you should pick a quality and run with it...but hey...aim high...see where you end up...

I've learned that you can't choose who you're attracted to...no matter what...so i say falk a criteria...and be attracted to whoever catches my eye...pretty simple...

I used to be into that shy girl thing.. It's cute alright, but I'm just way too shy myself to ever get to know other shy people. Then there's the smart girl thing, hm.. well, I like people to be really relaxed and secure about themselves, having strong opinions without feeling the need to scream about it all the time. I hate it when people say stuff just so everyone will know how smart or cool they are (that's just very uncool, heh). The humor is also an important thing, it's not something I think about but if people don't at all get my sarcastic and weird humor, it's hard.. eh..

I think we are bound to repeat our mistakes. I like strawberries therefore I tend to choice strawberries over any other fruit/berry(whatever) even though I at some point might have gotten a really sour strawberry. Same thing goes for the entire love thing.

Can't describe the type though, mostly because it's all Bada Bing and then I'm transformed from a fairly intelligent humanbeing into some kind of love sick puppy and all that analysing and critical thinking I'm usually quite good at takes a vacation until my heart is broken or the vacation is over. For the record I'd take the broken heart any day over you yourslef realising that this is not it, in a way that hurts far more.

Same with me. My boyfriend now is such a guy's guy, but that's what I like. I don't want a man who spends more time getting ready than I do and one who doesn't like sports. My boyfriend and I have lots of fun going to sporting events and watching them on TV, cheering on our teams (which are hardly ever the same). Heck, I'm even the one girlfriend/wife of his friends that plays with the boys. I usually join in their basketball games and keep up quite well, which they all respect (especially since I have a better jump shot than some of them 😀 )

My guy's also got to be funny. A jokester will almost always win me over, as long as he's not hideous - yes I said it. Looks do matter 😛

All four of the serious relationships I've been in, the guys have had similar physical attributes. All around 5'10 - 6', All brown hair, thin, and only one of the four had blue eyes. I don't dig blondes for some reason. 😀

As long as I don't have to do the dishes in them. Haha ya believe me I know. I'd be fine with someone who makes me comfortable and can make me smile, all the other stuff is just bonus.

I often find myself w/ the same type of person... they tend to talk a lot, which is good because at times i can be quiet... and most of the time i seem to find they have dry/sarcastic humor, which i don't mind either because it amuses me.

over all i'd have to say Sex in the City is right, you do find yourself dating the same type of people over and over again... there's just different sides to each of them, some better, some worse.

I go for either dopey people dont ask me why i just love them, or really loud exciting people who are just up for absolutely anything, you know the type i mean, you know the ones who when you go lets go and jump in that river and they say yes and then actually do it... lookwise i go for people who are naturally cute but dont love themselves... i dont mind a muscular mody but i like the more natural look, you know slim but with medium muscles etc lol

Well I already knew that when I said I wanted a "Guy's Guy". 😛

You're more of a metrosexual as far as I can tell 😉

My "type" would be preppy, clean-cut boys, boys with accents, boys who can sing.

Naturally that means my husband dresses as casually as he can manage, has no accent and can't carry a tune. Ahhh...you can't change who you fall in love with! LOL

He teases me about it all the time though...

Well For me I like guys who are loud, I love to be loud and got to be able to be about as loud as me. Make me laugh. And talk a lot, which is a thing I do a lot. But I just love talking. But he has to be sweet.

Same here Cordelia. I know to meany guys who do take way longer time getting ready then me. once I had a friend who was 15 mins late to the dinner thing. (and we stared getting ready at the same time) Because he had to make sure his hair was perfect. Drives me nuts oh and also got to let me be able to touch his hair. Know I am wried but I hate the whole my hair looks good keep your hands off it thing.

Oh I forgot about the scars. Don't know why and it's a bit strange, but then again so am I. I like people's scars, not massive ones, but the small ones that makes peoples bodies so unique.
