It is clear and sunny and the coldest morning yet. And the forecast has it remaining noticeably cooler than it has been. It is time to get the winter weight duvet out.
 
Clear and cold today. We are at 1°C/34°F this morning and it is only going up to 9°C/48°F today. In a month, this will be the good old days.

I changed the sheets and forgot to get the winter duvet out! Now I need to remake that part of the bed.
 
Another sunny, dry and cool start to the day. Yesterday it did end up raining quite a lot, though.
 
Gonna be warm today. Watering the garden early. This is my life for the next 6 months
 
Patchy cloud and coolish, though there is no rain forecast today.

A wet start to the day, though it's forecast to dry up, and rather warm for the time of year.
 
It is slightly cooler than yesterday, though still warm for November, and with a decent chance of rain this afternoon.
 
We have some rain scheduled for the next two days but that is timely - the city has been doing some roadwork which has encroached on houses and has had to plant new sod on our lawns. Sod is famous for needing a lot of water, so this works out just fine for us.

A damp start has turned into a dry, comparatively warm and mostly sunny day, though more rain is forecast. Though during the evening when it's dark anyway.
 
It's white outside! We got a light dusting of snow after 6 AM because there was none at 5:45 when I let the dog out. There will be a major meltback on Tuesday but for today and tomorrow, the temperature will remain below freezing. This is about a month early - several decades ago, the first snow would be in the December 9 to December 11 time frame and there were some years where snow still hadn't started until after Christmas. Must be all this global cooling I have been hearing about.
 
Fall is finally here! Sweater weather had arrived! I am elated.
The leaves are turning colors and falling, and it's time to turn on the heat!
