"When asked if Whedon would be doing any more writing and directing for television, the Buffiverse mastermind revealed he would indeed soon be writing and directing an episode of "Angel" dealing with a "setback" for Fred."

"If I heard correctly (feel free to correct me, my fellow attendees; the public address system was not friendliest to Herc's ears) Whedon said this episode would be shot right after the one Edlund was writing and directing."

It must be quite pivotal I reckon for Joss to decide to take on another episode!

yay! this ep is gonna rock. IloveJossIloveJossIloveJoss in a (mostly i think) heterosexual way 🙂

I can only say, "Oh, wow!" I too think it'll involve Spike, but then I've been posting Spike-Fred for months!

Yeah, Spike/Fred is a no no. Spike must be saved for the day Buffy visits.
But it's cool Joss is writing another ep.

I love the idea of Spike/Fred.

She needs to break out of her shell, and if there is one field Spike is an abolute expert in, it's that. Really, who knows more about being shy and quiet than good old William the bloody, named that for his bloody aweful poetry? Besides, Spike likes to be the biggest s-disturber in any crowd, so it's not like he could effectively hook up with a Gwen or anything like that, without ending up in direct competition with her.

Man, I can't wait to see Cordy's reaction to Spike when she comes out of her coma. Alot has changed in his life(ves) since they last met.

hoping that...doesn't he understand that Buffy's one true love is Angel?....I hope we will get some Spred soon
