He wrote and directed this latest episode and took a shooting page from the Buffy/Angel playbook. The writer points out, the episode "delivered exactly what wed want from the Justice League, complete with Buffyesque 'hero walk'."

OK, that Justice League "hero walk" was...slightly cringe inducing, heh. But it did make me think of the Boxer Rebellion scene....
 
The hero walk is everywhere now. I've seen it on everything from Torchwood to Dog the Bounty Hunter. My favorite version is the one in the Angel episode Smile Time where Puppet Angel leads it. 🙂
 
Yeah, the Smile Time one was was the best. Any "hero walk" basically parodies itself. How can it be any other way...

Does your imaginary Justice League spin-off exclude Tom Welling? Because if so, I'd definitely watch it. ESPECIALLY if Lois was in it, only with Queen. Unless they casted someone competent as Clark.

And how many times has "Buffy" featured the hero walk? I know in "Prophecy Girl". Did they do it in "Chosen"? For some reason I'm thinking they did it several times.

Something about a hero walk in slo-mo though. With flames in the background. In a perfect "V" formation like a flock of geese. I guess that's right out of the comics, so it's cool. The Scooby walks were usually pretty ragged and half-assed.

A JLA spinoff sounds fun. Get them to Gotham for the setting. How about just Green Arrow, Chloe and the Flash?
 
I liked Chloe as "the watchtower". If they did do a spinoff I'd prefer she went there than stay on Smallville. Then again it's a part that would be easy to cast. Someone like Summer Glau would be good as watchtower also.
 
Psh Summer Glau could never be Oracle, much as I love her.

Wonder Woman and Batman are tied up in rights, so I don't know if they could really set it in Gotham. They'd probably have to put them in Star City.
