Hi there!

I am Daniel.

30 Year old geek from Sweden

I somewhere around 2004 saw the episode once more with feeling on a tv when I was hanging with friends. I just loved how well done the musical was. The characters and so on. I also found Dawn very cute .

Anyhow, I looked up the Tv show and started to watch it with the girlfriend I had at the time. We got hooked and soon we had bought every season we could find.

We played pen and paper rpg with friends , and I found the buffy RPG books. I buyed them all and we played it. Was so much fun living out the buffyverse dream 🙂

I soon had started to watch Angel aswell and later Firefly and Dollhouse too.

Whedon makes amazing characters and relations between them.

I was happy to see there is buffy forums around still. I am sure I will have a great time hanging around with other people here shareing the same common interest 🙂

So not to bombard you with questions, but who are your favorite characters? episodes?😛

Questions are always fun

Fave character is so hard since all of them are amazing. I have a weak spot for Dawn becouse she is so cute and also that she is the odd one. On the outside of the group . I guess I can relate to her and what she goes thru .

Spike is also a fave character ofcourse. He goes thru alot of changes and is always cool and fun .

I also like Tara becouse she is also an kinda outsider of the group and the odd one.
And she is so shy and then grow more and more out of it. And her relation with Willow is amazing.
The up´s and the down´s of it .

Giles is such an amazing kinda father figure. I like that about him .

All the other characters are great too ofcourse but these poped up in my mind for now


As for fave episode. I have to go with once more with feeling.
The music and song is amazing. The story is taking som fun turns in that episode aswell.

Tabula Rasa is another fun episode . And hush is amazing in its own way.
Also the episode where buffys mom dies. Its do griping. The silence. The flash backs.

So much that is amazing in buffy. But this is what I could think of from the top of my head.
And this is just the buffy stuff. I could write pages and pages about buffy, angel , firefly, dollhouse and all the characters and episodes and my faves of all of it.
And I proberly will write about it, But for now this will have to do 🙂

Well my friend, I officially like you a lot!! Seems like we have a lot of favorites in common, plus it's always nice to see someone like Dawn, she's not exactly a favorite here. Tara would probably be my number one fav, but I just adore everyone you mentioned! And on top of that I love all the episodes you mentioned, they probably all have a place in my top 15.

Well I am happy to hear that! Thou I am prepared for meeting alot of people who dont like Dawn. But thats the fun with it, too see how everone else is looking at the shows and characters.

Would be boring if everyone had the same taste aswell. But since its rare to see people who like Dawn I am happy to hear it 🙂

Completely agree, I don't think we'd still be discussing the show if it wasn't for people disagreeing on some stuff!

Kaylee is my fave character. She is such an positive and cute person and an awesome ship mechanic . River is a close second fave character. She is so smart and unique. I like her more when she gets more stable but still is ..well. River 🙂
 
Welcome to the board!

I'm not the hugest Dawn fan, but I also don't hate her (I don't "hate" any of the characters, except maybe the ones we're supposed to hate, beside I find it a really strong word to use with fictional characters lol). But I do have a lot of sympathy for her (& Connor too). And I really like the Dawn/Buffy sister-relationship. So I always like to see Dawn fans. 🙂
