I couldn't listen to it. It sounded like there was too much echo or you were too far away from the mic. It irritated me, honestly. I think I WOULD have listened if not for that.

Hmm, I have never received feedback like this before. The speaking over the theme song has a reverb/chorus effect on it - is this what you mean? I promise that's only for the beginning and for introducing/closing segments.

No, I meant later on.. and I fastforwarded through some of it.. it just had a 'big room' away from the mic sound to it.. didn't know if you had echo on or if you two were sharing a mic or what. It just had a hollow sound to it. It wasnt 'bad' but just sitting here at work I found it irritating. It might be totally different if I were in a better frame of mind (ie not sitting at work) and not as noticeable.

I'm getting the same echoy problem as Mr. Pole. But thanks for letting us know! I started watching but had to go to work, but so far looks neat! Good work put into this 🙂

I listened to it last night. It did have a few echo problems here and there but didn't notice it too much. Do really like the long intro but oh well. I was wonder if you were going to be doing plot summaries. Not that I care, because I've seen every episode anyways, but every other podcasts I listen to give a plot summary. Other wise it was a pretty good first episode, I'm sure you guys will get better. I suggest maybe reading up better on the actors and characters. I was like shaking my head correcting you guys a few times. But that's just a personal thing. Can't wait for the next episode.

I'm always one for applying feedback, suggestions and criticisms we receive - and you know what, guys? I may have found the source of the problem. The audio file on the feed has been updated, so it should be better now with the echoes!

Fuffy Baith: Since most other podcasts do plot summaries and then discuss the episode for the rest, our mission statement was to sort of steer clear of that. Our plan is taking the traditional approach that many movie podcasts take (not necessarily TV ones!) where we discuss the project in length with our own feedback, comments and trivia here and there. I apologize if there was any inaccuracies in our information! We do quite a bit of research between the two of us, but since we have to get one episode down each week some things may slip through the cracks. Interesting. The only movie podcasts I listen to do short plot summaries. But like I said it doesn't bother me because I already know what's happened. I don't remember anything inaccurate off the top of my head but I'll pay attention later on and let you know. Will you guys be discussing listener feedback? That takes up a lot of the podcast time. How long did you say it was going to take you guys to do the whole Whedonverse? Cause the podcast I listen to on Buffy took about 3 years just to do all seven seasons at about 1 podcast a week.

Our plan currently looks to clock in around 4 years, but aside from the occasional few of our episodes (like this one), we'll be doing 2 episodes per week.
