When Buffy and Spike visited the Initiative in Killer in Me, when they saw the bodies; were those dead demon and Human bodies from over a decade ago aka from season 4?

They were the people that died 3 years before in Season 4, wasn't a decade...

Wel...it was only 3 years before, and the Intiative was sealed off by the goverment after Season 4. So, since the goverment tried to cover the entire operation up, it makes sense that they wouldn't recover any of the bodies.

As Far as I know, if there is one thing the military would spare no effort for, it's recovering the bodies of fallen soldiers. Of course, watching S4 (which I like, don't get me wrong) gave me the distinct impression Joss has about as much of an idea about how the military operates as I have about quantum physics. 🙂

Mostly I just think The Killer in Me is deeply stupid overall - it has other "what the hell" moments like the outrageous "Is Giles the First" storyline or Willow going to the wicca group we saw in Hush for help and then being surprised they actually did spells now.

I think the only reason the wanna blessed bes where doing speels was of Amy god I hate the fact that Willow never sought to put Amy in her place

I was listening to the commatary on this ep and the writer and director point out some cement falling when Buffy and Spike enter the complex but the Army did a shoddy job sealing it up mostly likely incase that wanted to do more eps in here

I think it would have been interesting to see more episodes inside the abandoned Intiative complex. Maybe they encountered the remnants of Adam's experiments?

Put Amy in her place? Willow let Amy spend 3 full years as a rat when she had enough magickal power and spell know how to turn her back into a human by early S4.

While the military would care very much about retrieving the bodies of fallen soldiers, there are probably different rules when dealing with those involved in covert operations like demon hunting and experimentation. Their entire Sunnydale division was classified.

well I don't know how the real military works, but the Iniative was a bunch of big-ego jerks who seemed to barely be able to do more than hold a gun imo... (it's still a wonder that they managed to capture Spike, but then again he wasn't on a very high point in his life at that time) So I'm not surprised that after the Adam debacle, they just left the facility there with the deads inside. And since it was classified (like crazysoulless said), they wouldn't have sent an entire team to recover the body. Even for Sunnydale that would have looked a little out of the ordinary.

And if I'm right in my counts, S7 was (2years 6months+6months+3months) around 3 years and 3 months after the end of S4... We're far from a decade and the bodies wouldn't have had time to desecate(sp?) completely.

(wow I watch waaaaay too many CSI and Bones episodes XD)
