How come another slayer wasn't called as with what happened in prophecy girl?I thought it might be the fact that theri was 2 slayers but then I remembered Faith was called when Kendra died. I wondered this for a while (probably the only one) and finally decided to ask fellow Buffy fans about it.
 
The Slayer line now runs through Faith, when Buffy died it passed to Kendra then to her. So Buffy is 'A' Slayer, Faith is 'The' Slayer.
 
I feel really stupid.Did they mention it in the show or is it just some obvious thing that I failed to see.In any case thanks for answering:lmao:

It's in several of the books and the RPG book. It was never mentioned in the show, so there's no need to feel stupid, a lot of people don't know. 🙂

Seriously. Not to be mean or anything, but there's a search function on these boards you can use to find similar topics, to prevent things like this from happening. That, and the thread Andrewc. refered to is very new, if I'm not mistaken it's on the first page you see when opening the Inside Out sub forum, with the very conspicuous name "What slayer was called after Buffy died in the Gift?".

But anyway, you're not stupid for not knowing. It might have been mentioned in the books, but it seems like even Joss forgot it, sometimes.
 
Don't feel stupid, it's the most commonly asked question because it actually isn't mentioned on the show and there are alot of inconsistencies that come into play later on.
