When did Amy become evil?

Okay, in the first season, Amy was a nice girl, friends with Willow and Xander, then with Buffy. In season 2, She did this spell to her teacher, about the homework, then performed a spell for Xander when he found out about the homework thing. In season 3 she did magic, and wasn't hiding it, she'd never done anything bad. In season 4 she came back for a second after being a rat for the last year. Then in season 6, she becomes human again, thanks to Willow. She did bad things, she almost destroyed Willow's life. She was kind of a junky, only with magic. She became a bad girl. Also, in season 7 she cursed Willow and she became Warren. She wanted to destroy Willow, not because of hate, but because the power. That's what she said anyway. She became evil. But looking at all of the above list, I don't think it was ever shown when exactly she became evil. Was it when she turned back to human? Why?
 
She went through the same thing as Willow. She was a junkie, but she didn't admit it. It wasn't so much that she turned evil as that she just acted on every impulse that she felt, no matter who it hurt. She learned that from her mother. It's a sad fact, but it's true that kids who have junkies/alcoholics/abusers for parents often end up going down the same path, even though they know how much pain it caused them. Amy was nice in season one, but when she started playing with magic, she realised that she could do anything her mother did and more. She is fuelled by jealousy and impulse, and after being denied either for 2 years it's little wonder she got in too deep.

However, it does seem that she was in with Rack before her Rattiness, and animal transfiguration is very advanced, so it's probably safe to say that she was there circa season 2.

And remember in season 3 or 4 when Willow tries to de-rat Amy she says Amy didn't turn back but was rubbing her little paws together like she was plotting?

I think Amy was kidna lost. Being a witch, but having no friends to support her ,and accept her. She held a grudge on Willow for getting that. And then she got even more pissed when people just seemed to go "Oh poor Willow, she had a hard time, that's why" when Willow flayed Warren. It made her furious, that Willow could "get away" with that.
 
yeah i think Amy was deffinatly angry about teh fact that willow had advanced so mch as a witch over teh couple of years that she was running around on her little wheel. maybe if amy had have finished high school and went to college, joined in with the wicca groups bake sales then maybe she wouldnt have been too badly hooked to the magic but then again thats something thats quite hard to tell lol.

Willow should ahve just left her as a pet rat, she was much less trouble then.
 
I think she was really always a little evil. Even in season two, when she was pretending to do her homework - She obviously had way to much power then, and that's what made her how she was. And then coming back from being a rat, all the years away from it, probably made her do more magic which made it worse.

I always kind of figured that because of her mother she had never learned to not be selfish with her powers.
That seems to be the main thing Tara warns Willow against at the engagement party. Not that she's using magic, but that she's using it selfishly when she doesn't have to.
It was just a couple of episodes before when she's still all braggy about Willow being this "super witch" and all proud like it was a good thing.
So the "evil" part seems to come from being selfish with the power.
Which seems to me to mean, Amy was headed down the path before she got all rattified. Then she had a couple of years of "ratty rehab" but then jumped RIGHT back in as soon as she was done with that.

She does seem more than a tad bit unstable in Gingerbread...not the same girl we saw in the Witch or even the slightly more selfish witch in Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered.
