Sacred and Profane
"Xena?!?!? " I shrieked. "No! Faith has got freaking nothing in common with Xena!"
"I don't get why not. Same kinda character. Same kinda show." responded my netbuddy.
"Buffy The Vampire Slayer is not like Xena!!! Or Charmed!!! Or any of those shows!"
"Why not? What's so special about Buffy?"
So here I am. A week of writing at ungodly hours, surfing the net for quotes and examples, and so far, about eight pages of stuff. I haven't yet moved on to pre-Christian Northern European religion and Celtic mythological sagas but I intend to.
Anyway.
Help me finish this thing sometime before Christmas. My question is - when did the term "Buffyverse" (Or any of it's ME-verse, Jossverse, Whedonverse variants) first come into usage? Understandably, it's hard to trace it's origins. It almost definitely came from a message board, I just wanna know when... I'd be so grateful in fact, that I'm offering a bounty of petz points for the earliest recorded use...
