We haven't had a writing competition for a while and thought we should give you a chance to show off your skills.

The story is to take place between seasons 3 and 4, at the time when Angel and Cordelia left for LA and Xander left for his road trip.

Story needs to be 5000 words, with a 10% margin either way. PG 13 at most, keep it family friendly.

You need to PM me your story by June 30th.

A 5000 word piece is just 10 500 word pieces stuck together!
I was more concerned about the 10% margin,
how will nightshade know if the author of the written entry to the competition actually did use a 10% margin for each line?

How did you know that we could answer the question by June the 30th in the year that seasons 3 and 4 were originally shown?

Could it be anything to do with the intelligence of those in Black Thorn being able to alter the time continuum?
 
It's kind of addressed in a comic by Jane Esperson called "Haunted," which covers the Summer of '99, and kind of bridges the two seasons. It's not great, but it does cover Cordie's departure and Xander's preparations. I'm not a fan of Willow being a Lv. 99 Mage by this point in the story, but hey.

Although, why don't more Teen shows do Summer seasons? "Seems like a license to print money.
