When did you know you were obsessed?

Wasn't sure where to put this, so this thread will either be moved or closed I guess.

When did you realize that you were obsessed with Buffy?

I remember in 2nd grade (season 1) my friends and I used to play Buffy during recess. I was always Angel and Stephanie (Tru_Davies) was always Buffy. We played Buffy during recess up until 6th grade. Then back to 1st grade, I had all these note cards somehow so I put them in this small filing cabinet, and each time an episode would air, I'd write a summary about it. Of course everything was wrong, for example, "The Witch" I had Bufy fights a witch and dies but Jiles brings her back. Sad I guess, lol.
 
My friend and I used to relate everything to Buffy all the way through high school. Since First year... i guess...! And it was a rule that we spent the whole of friday discussing Buffy and Angel from the night before. We were so good at bringing up funny quotes at the right time. 🙂
 
Hmm last year. Be4 it was like ok, Btvs is great I like it...but from last year, gosh, I was totally obssessed, like each time I talked I quote sommink from btvs. I hardly spent a day without talking about it. Since, I've been a bit cured, lmao, coz I was like wow, it's serious, you need to be less buffy-talk, lol, so I start talking bout other shows, lmao, j/k ! ::rolf:: ::evil1::
 
Man, Parker Summers, I wish I could have played BtVS in elementary school. My friends and I had such awesome imaginations, and we'd also play things like Power Rangers, so I'm sure it would have been a blast. But I was just born too early ::eyes1::

And I guess I realized I was truly obsessed when I blew all of my cash on the first three season DVDs (around $50 each) and watched them all one right after the other, each box set taking a little less than two days of as much viewing as possible.
 
Well, I don't think that I am half as obsessed as some of the other BB members! LOL 🙂 But I do luv my BTVS. I only recently discovered it-a little bit before I joined the BB in September of 2003. I became addicted within the first two eps of S1-as ALWAYS I thank my good friend, Rayne, for the introduction! 😉
 
It graduatly grew, but I think that at the end of 2002, when I became no1 here, I was like woa, I'm doing this rather often.
 
Since 'Angel'(1.7)...David's character is what really hooked me and stared wanting to know everything about the show :: wacko :
 
I watched "Phases" and thought it was really cool show...but then I started watching the last few eps of Season Three...I saw Earshot, and thought it was one of the best pieces of television I'd ever seen...then...I saw Buffy stab Faith and throw her off the roof...and I knew I was going to be hooked...

(I had to keep watching, duh, I was waiting for Faith to come out of her coma and show back up)
 
Same as in M's case..When I first saw DB I was like..That's my future husband and that show is great..
 
When I first saw him('Welcome to Hellmouth') I was like 'that boy is hot::drool::!' and I liked the series,but it wasn't anything special,it was just a show,not an obsession...I became obsessed after watching 'Angel'
 
Not too much of a story...Ive been watching Buffy since I was 10, I even stayed up to watch it along with Angel. Got caught, got T.V. taken away, then when bedtime changed, started watching it again, and bought season 1. I guess season 1 got me hooked.
 
When I first starting watching Buffy, I didn't go on any forums, I just enjoyed it. I supposed I realized I cared about it more than the regular person when I cryed at The Gift. Soon after, I went to a sci-fi forum. But I needed more. I ventured to a Buffy forum (August 2002) and had to join. That was my moment.
 
I'd been watching it since it first aired, but when I saw Surprise and Innocence, that was it, I was hooked. Especially seen as I was all of about 12 and going through one of thoes hopelessly romantic phases, when everything was just so beautiful I could die.
 
One of my friends got me watching the 2nd season of Buffy, I was hooked ever since, I don't really know quite when I became obsessed, one day I just was.....lmao
 
i knew when i applied everything in life to buffy and i would just randomly state facts about it and when my family got scared cause i knew buffys adress
 
I did two summers ago when I was finding everything about the show I enjoyed watching so much. All my time spent on the Internet was going to Buffy and Angel sites. Hmm... I think I figured it out when I wanted all the Buffy stuff I could get my hands on... around the time I was practically begging for the S2 DVD!
 
When I was a lot younger my neighbor got me playing Buffy before I even watched it. I was always mad that she got to be Buffy and I had to be Willow. So I watched the show and made my sister be Willow so I could be Buffy for a chance. Then I really got into it during season 5 and became obsessive shortly after 🙂
