Near the end of This Year's Girl when did you realize it was Faith in Buffy's body? Was it the "Five by Five" that threw you off?

Unfortunately for some reason I can never seem to keep myself from reading spoilers so I already knew what was happening in that episode. D:

Yes I think the viewers were supposed to know it was Faith with the "Five by Five". I don't think it was meant to be a secret (to the viewer).

I caught the hints in the video from the Mayor so as soon as Faith grabbed her hand, I knew what had happened.

Well, because the line "Five by five" was meant to be the point where they actually tell us that it's Faith... Not too hard to not get confused. So yeah, "5x5".

Also the movement of her face, definitely not like Buffy
I didn't read the spoilers or see the previews beforehand, but, for some unknown reason, I just knew when the show started that, somehow, Faith was going to try and replace Buffy. But, honestly, I was expecting some sort of time shift spell that would have reversed history and made Buffy the one who had killed the Finch and went to work for the Mayor. Just shifting bodies was kind of a let down, story-wise. I will say, though, that it allowed both Sarah and Eliza the opportunity to shift roles, and they both did a superb job of it.

Actually, right when they held hands and that weird energy went through them, I actually thought in my mind, "Did they switch bodies or something?" and then of course when Buffy said "Five by five" I knew I was right. 😛

I didn't saw it untill they let us know. Well that's not really correct I needed five minutes more to check what was going on... sometimes I am a little bit slow... 😀

I'm pretty sure I didn't see it coming until the point when they made it obvious... the "five by five" followed by the musical sting. (The sting pretty much removed any doubt...)

I didn't quite realize it when "Buffy" said "Five by five", but by the time I started Who Are You, I figured out what had happened. It just clicked in my brain in between the two. For some reason, when I watched this episode, I'd completely forgotten about Faith saying "Five by five" in season 3, so I was kind of confused by it being in this episode. But yeah, I got it in between the two -- I knew something was really off, just didn't realize at first what it was.

Well I had not seen season 3 when I watched this and I still got it! 🙂 throughout the episode, Faith keeps saying Five by Five, they even make a point of Willow telling Tara that Faith always says Five by Five. So when Buffy says it at the end, after we see *something* happening to Buffy and Faith, there isn't much room for error!
