Almost every kid has some dream of what job they want to do when they grow up. I was wondering what you all wanted to do and if you managed it! 🙂

I wanted to be a vet,but then i did work experience at a vets practice and hated it. All the vets were really not friendly and just left me to stand in a corner. So that was the end of my childhood dream!
 
Professional football player! 😀 What, no that´s a job. And if you´re good enough you don´t have to work after you´re 35th birthday if you just hold on to your money...

I think I always wanted to be a musician in a band or an artist but I know I wouldn't be now, I'm not good enough at either! :lmao:
 
I wanted to be a vet, then a marine biologist, and now I am in Film school. :lmao: I want to be able to one day work for a television station so at the moment I am studying hard so that I can hopefully do just that.

Side note while making a home video one day when I was like 4 my brother had just been born and my mom asked what I thought he should be when he grew up. She gave examples like a doctor or fireman. I replyed "I think my brother should be a bumblebee." I just like that story so thought I would share since it was relevant. Anyone else here working to be a bumblebee when they grow up?

My friend's been working his butt off to finally get the qualifications required to be a bumblebee. It's a very competitive field.

Well, My Uncle Emory used to tell me tales when I was a kid about ships and sailing, so I always kinda wanted to go to sea. I wound up in the Navy, so I guess you could say that I grew up to do what I always wanted to.
 
When I was young(er) I wanted to be an art teacher or a writer..Now that reality has slapped me in the face several times over, I've accepted that I will never be nothing more than a bum, a hobo or a badass.
 
Nursery teacher. I've always wanted to be one. I love kids. And if they get annoying, well then I'll give them some cookies, cause they can't talk when they're eating. 😀
 
I wanted to be several things...

-Ballerina - Injured my knee while dancing and tore the cartilage, so clearly, not happening.

-Dolphin Trainer - I hate swimming under water.

-Writer - Who knows. I have to finish and polish a novel, not just write rough drafts, in order to do that. 😉

-Lawyer - Still contemplating it. We'll see.
 
I had no aspirations as a child. Odd. And honestly, that is the truth, I never thought 'when i grow up i wanna be (__________)'
 
I wanted to write and draw comic books, didn't happen. Boo 🙁
 
I wanted to be a vet until someone told me you had to put down animals...
Then a nurse until I realised you might have to deal with dead bodies...
Then a fashion designer, except I don't know how to sew or design anything in general...
A stylist until I realised I had no style 😛

I still wanna be a rock star, though I have no talent. But these days, I'm thinking I'd just like to own a little bookshop or something random like that.
 
Way back in the dawn of time, I wanted to be a lawyer....don't know what happened with that. I guess it just kinda faded away.

In all actuality, I wanna be a writer. Of stories. Not that I'm actively working towards that goal, because I think it's pretty well known that I don't actively work towards anything, but it's a hope I have.

Nah I guess I just..I just realized that my ultimate goal as a kid was to be a dubber. .you know, one of those people who voices cartoons. I would love to be that..Still
 
Errmmm, worm farmer at age 4

Dog breeder at age 10

Funeral director at age 14.

Now, I think I would be quite happy to charter as a qualified librarian after I finish my thesis. Seriously. I love working in a library. Something about the smell of paper.....
