When I grow up I want to be a......

When I was in high school, I wanted to be on Broadway. Specifically, I wanted to play Christine in The Phantom of the Opera.

When I realized how impossible that was, I wanted to be a theater teacher.

When I realized I wasn't insane enough to major in theater, I wanted to be a music teacher.

When I discovered that there was no way I would be able to get through the music program at my college (mostly because I had an Associate's and hadn't started the music thing as a freshman), I switched to English.

So now I'm an English teacher.

I'm still working, though; I'm applying to doctoral programs, and I want to be a tenured professor. AND a writer (professionally; I write, so I'm a writer, but I want to get PAID for it).

1. nurse - But couldn't stand the sight of blood

2. teacher - Don't have the patience for kids. I'm afraid I'm going to smack them.

3. singer - I realized I have a terrible voice

Currently, I'm working as a library page, but wanna be a writer.

Kids are really good at making you want to smack them.
I wanted to be an Evil Lawyer, I'm studying to be an Evil Lawyer, and in about 4 years I will be an Evil Lawyer.

Now, where did I put that Wolfram and Hart application form?
