When people change their avatars

We get used to people having a specific avatar...all we have to do is see it, and we know who it is without seeing their screen name. We are content and comforted. All is well.

But then they change their avatar.

We are confused and lost. Our world is suddenly unfamiliar and alien. Who is this person?! Oh God, I have to find their screen name now? 😛

Lol. I think I changed mine a few months after I joined but haven't. I think by now people might know me by my avatar. So I don't want to confuse people. Lol. It works for people like Taake to keep changing, I'm used to that now.

Now I'm wondering if I should change my avatar to something Buffy-related. Technically my avatar is a fan art of Brandon Stark from Asoiaf.
 
It is an easy fix. I'll just use my favorite comic book slayer.

You might wanna double check with the fac, but I believe it is required that we have a Buffy/Whedon (Firefly, Dollhouse, Angel etc) related avatar :)

I've never changed my avatar, but I'd like to, just to freshen it up a bit. I've just never found one I liked enough. Maybe I should ask the artists here if they'd be kind enough to devise one for me, Spuffy related of course
 
I would often change mine to match the banner I has. I had a Darla and Angelus one for ages though, and now I've stuck with this Harmony one for a while.
 
I love changing mine, but I do kind of hate when other changes theirs because it confuses me. 😛 But I like changing mine so it matches with my mood.
 
I tend to stick to Glory. I don't know anyone else who has a Glory avatar. They're was that one time I was Black Widow and I used Hayley Atwell for the awards, but generally, I'll always be Glory. She's my spirit God. 😉
 
I had a Lorne avatar for years because it was from the scene where I took my username from. I adore Lilah though. I've asked @GwenRaiden to make me a Joyce set. 😀 I'm not a massive fan but Kristine is gorgeous and I'm vain.
 
I seriously do get confuse when people change their avatar. lol
It kinda works if you change often enough. Then I never have the time to get used to it in the first place.

So you either change often or never. 🙂

But I have actually changed mine once also... someone else started to use the same image so I took a new one.
Only had two during my years here though.

It's from the episode Time Bomb when Lorne is following Illyria for Angel and he has the walkie-talkie. He says 'Bluebird is in flight'. It's quite an obscure reference lol.
