When people change their avatars

I like keeping an avatar for just enough amount of time that people are comfortable and recognise it straight away, then boom... change it.

haha what was your avatar before? I've had my Gunn avatar since I came back a few years ago, but I don't even remember what avatar I had before that when I first joined.

To be honest, I've forgotten. Before I came back, though (if dropping by at random times can be defined as "being back"), I don't think you could have customised avatars. I changed every once in a while. By now, I've grown fairly attached to the one I've got now. I think it's a keeper. Perhaps it's time for the matching banner to come back.

Why bother getting the avatar you want? When I joined back in 07 I took the avatar of Willow in her attractive green jacket (yuk). The picture was removed by the board a few years ago and I can't be bothered to replace it, also knowing how to falls into the too hard basket.

Ask a mod to do it for you. They might if you ask nicely.
I changed my avatar twice today, which amuses me to no end. And I LOVE the one I have right now!! 😀

Erm.....Isn't that three times now? ;)
I can never be solely defined by a teeny, tiny picture next to my commentary, so I'm compelled to change it every so often.🙂

Although it will probably always have Faith it it somewhere, because obviously.
 
I can't see myself changing my avatar pic of Spike and Dru. The pic just goes with my name so well. 😀
