When Spike told Buffy

In the episode "Crush" Spie told buffy that he was in love with her, and I didnt see that at first and about 5 eps after it but only got to catch up tonight and I was just descusted by Buffy's response, he is a vampire and they dont usually like to be all soft and all but he gave her everything and she just shrugged it all off.

Then in the next episode "I was made to love you" how when he went to tell everyone that it waqsent what it seemed they all looked at him like he was some kind of monstor (which he is but thats besides the point) and Giles had the nerve to actually THREATEN him, he has guts and then Dawn didnt like him either.

Ok I think im blabbering here to much and sorry to knock all you Buffy fans out there I also like her But just saying what all the Spike fans feel like saying, but I'm the only one angry enogh to say it 😉
 
I catch what ya mean Alyson...but I also see why Buffy did it. I mean he had hardly proved himself yet. I mean imagine someone is very mean to you and to the people you love then suddenly they are telling you they love you...I would'nt be very open to it either...of course if that guy was Spike I most definately would but...what was my point again? YOUR CRAZY BUFFY!!! LOL!!!
 
I can see where your coming from, but I mean when Dawn told her she just laughed and when she told Xander he just couldnt stop laughing which was kinda like "who cares about spikes feelings he's a vampire" and then with angel the gang defeaned him when others questioned.
 
Well their first meeting with Angel was different then their first meeting with Spike, Spike tried to kill them, Angel didnt so ofcourse they would defend him more even though they rarely defend Angel. Also Angel didnt try to brake the group apart like Spike did in S4, frankly Spike was lucky he had his chip or else he wouldve been dust in the wind....

I was kinda laughing when Buffy said to spike "the only chance you had with me was when I was unconcious" 🙂
 
I'm sorry but I didnt watch much of season 4, What happens? Was that wen Spike bites willow??
 
yeah he bites Willow in S4 after he gets the chip installed and he and Willow have some funny quotes in that episode. He turns Buffy,Xander,Willow, and Giles agianst each other and works with Adam so he can get the chip out.

He tries to kill Buffy in Harsh Day of light
 
Yup, season 4 didn't show Spike at his best...but I still would have consumed him like a fine red wine...yummy...
 
You want to turn him in wine?? right..... and it is a coincidence cause I just saw the harsh light of day for the first time yesterday. But she ALSO tried to kill him many times so all im saying is she could cut him some slack once in a while. I'm not saying I think they should get married all im saying is that he has saved her life a few times and she ha saved his life a couple so that kinda evans it out.
 
Well its her job to kill him and she only tried to kill him because he tried to kill her and her friends. Spike was lucky that Buffy let him live when he had the chip in his head, espically after teaming up with Harmony and trying to kill her and Riley then teaming up with Adam. So Buffy did cut Spike alot of slack.
 
But how do you know that she actually could kill him, Dawn pointed out that he is very powerful and that buffy was worried that maybe one day if the chip comes out he could kill her so that might be why.
 
Because she couldve killed him when he got the chip, She has beaten his butt countless of times, even when he was invicable in Harsh Day of Light she ended up getting the upper hand.

She couldve killed him in Lovers Walk(S3) but she couldnt since she needed him to tell her where Willow and Xander are.

S2-5 she has always gotten the upper hand on Spike.
 
Thats actually a good point! Maybe next time I might have to read between the lines!
 
why did she keep saying "hes dangerous dawn blah blah blah" but she would let dawn stay with hin in the next ep. she always depended on him but she would say she hated him!
 
because he was the strongest person besides her and he could protect Dawn agianst anyone if Buffy ever died. I think that Buffy kept telling Dawn that Spike is evil because she didnt want Dawn to get to attached to Spike espically if one day he got the chip out.
 
yea well if I was spike I would say get stuffed cause she said all those bad things about him to dawn and stuff
