When they find one of Adam's experiments of demons in This Year's Girl

Anybody remember the scene where, the gang finds a demon's limbs and corspe ripped apart and stretched out by Adam in the woods in "This Year's Girl"?

Well did anybody else find that to be Buffy's most artistic scene?
 
I remember it, yeah, but artistic? Not so much. I mean, it was a guy who had his chest ripped open pretty graphically. Not overly artistic to me.

When I mean artistic, I mean like the atmosphere of it all. The creepy score etc. Maybe artistic wasn't the right word

Ah, I see. My bad, I misunderstood. I actually watched that episode not to long ago, and the commentary with it, and that scene is based off some really famous horror movie, the title of which is escaping me at the moment. I want to say Hannibal Lector, but that might be wrong.

I get what you mean, but I didn't find it very artistic, or I think there are more artistic moments like any scene with Angelus, Spike and Dru in the Mansion, those 3 each had a distinctive look and the mansion always seemed creepy.
The scenes with the gentleman in their creepy tower was amazing.
I would think Willow flaying Warren was more artistic cuz it looked like there was allot more detail then there was with the demon in Season 4.
 
I didn't find that scene artistic. There are lots of other moments in the series that I felt were much more artistic than that one. One of my favorites is how the camera rotates and pans out as Angel is drinking from Buffy in "Graduation Day pt 1". The music and passion of the moment and the camera angles are just so well done.
