Since the poll is now closed, and Fanfic B is the victor, I think it is safe for me to announce that I am the author. Here it is again:

When Warren Met Amy "¦

As Amy Madison walked away, she heard the door gently close behind her. Willow Rosenberg had just literally shut her out of her life. That bitch, she thought. Didn't she enjoy their night out at the Bronze? Didn't she appreciate the magic that Rack had given her? Of course she had. She was practically orgasmic. Then what was it? She must be lying to herself. She must be afraid of her growing power. These thoughts and more ran through Amy's mind as she walked down the street and further from the house. When she reached the end of the end of the street, she turned right and "¦ stopped.

A young man was standing about six feet away. And he was staring at her.

"Can I help you with something?" she asked sarcastically.

"Actually," he replied with an obnoxious smirk, "it's the other way around. I believe that I can help you with something."

"Really?" Amy huffed. She couldn't believe this guy's nerve. "I don't need your help. But go ahead. How can you help me?

"The name's Warren Mears. I've been watching you for quite a while and "¦"

"Nooo thanks, creep," Amy interrupted, swiftly pivoting on one foot and turning around. "If anyone will be watching anyone, it will be me watching Willow."

"Wait, wait, listen!" Warren shouted, following her. "That came out wrong. You want to hurt Willow, and so do I. Get it? We're on the same side."

Amy spun around to face her pesky pursuer. He looked genuinely afraid. Good, she thought. He should be afraid of me.

"No, I don't get it," she retorted. "I never said I wanted to hurt her. And we don't even know each other."

"Okaay," he cautiously replied, putting his hands up in front of him as if that would stop her from hurting him. "You're right. Let's go back to my place and get to know each other, talk this over "¦"

"Why, so you can try to rape me?"

"What?!" he incredulously shouted, a nervous edge to his voice. "No, no, of course not. For one thing, we won't be alone. I live with a couple of "¦ associates, and we've been torturing Buffy from afar for quite some time now "“ psychologically, mostly. Driving her crazy. Perhaps you've heard of us?"

"I'm afraid not," Amy blithely replied. Man, this guy wouldn't shut up. "But I like the idea of torturing Buffy. Bitch tries to spoil my fun by turning Willow against me. It's starting to piss me off."

"Good, good," Warren responded gleefully, though still clearly nervous, as he should have been. "Let's go then, shall we?"

"All right, but if you try to pull anything "¦"

"No, no!" he assured, waving that notion away with both hands. "I'll be a perfect gentleman."

And so they walked in silence for several blocks, back to Warren's house.

Upon arriving in the basement headquarters, Amy was struck by how lame it was. There was junk in the corners, and crudely-drawn "evil plans" written on a whiteboard. Perhaps it would be good for her be here, to add some class to the place "“ not to mention brains. Along with all this, Warren's two "associates" did not look promising.

"Amy, allow me to introduce you to Jonathan and Andrew," Warren said, gesturing to each in turn.

"Hello," Amy said by way of greeting. And she left it at that.

"Nice to meet you," they replied simultaneously, Andrew sounding bashful and Jonathan sounding scared shitless. These were villains?

Warren clapped his hands and rubbed them together. "Okay, that's that. Amy, let's move somewhere private and talk things over, shall we?"

"Gladly," she replied, quickly following him upstairs to the kitchen.

Warren pulled out a chair at the small kitchen table, and Amy sat down. Warren then sat down across from her. It was all too proper and polite. She didn't like it.

"I told you not to try anything funny, didn't I?" she asked, by way of warning.

"And I'm not," Warren assured, though she wasn't convinced. "I'm just being a gentleman, like I mentioned earlier. Now about our plans "¦"

"Me first," Amy interrupted. "Why were you watching me, and also, how?"

"We've noticed how easily you've been able to corrupt Willow, and we're impressed," Warren answered, a creepy grin on his face. "I was hoping you might be able to help us devise plans to stop Buffy."

"Okay, gross. And the how?"

"We've put surveillance cameras in all of Buffy's public hangouts. The Bronze, the Magic Shop, the cemetery, you name it. Her home is the only place she's safe from our prying eyes."

Amy pursed her lips and squinted her eyes in contemplation. "Okay, maybe you're not quite as dumb as I thought. What have you got so far?"

Warren reached into his right pants pocket and pulled out a small, silver sphere. "It doesn't look like much, but it's a cerebral dampener. If I squeeze it just right, I release magic that turns anyone into my willing slave."

Amy chuckled, smiling and shaking her head. "Not exactly original, but it might be effective. You have a test subject in mind, I hope? If you try it on Buffy and it doesn't work, she'll probably kick your ass, or worse."

"Yeah, yeah," Warren replied, waving his hands as if to brush aside any concern. "I was going to try it out on my ex-girlfriend. Might as well have some fun while I'm at it, right?"

Amy rolled her eyes in disbelief. To top it all off, this creep was a misogynist. Typical. He had probably already built himself a sex robot, too. "Well, that's not my idea of fun, but knock yourself out. But I was thinking you need to account for Buffy's strength. If you can't control her mind or body, you need to be able to fight her. And if your silly gadgets don't work, I suggest you man up and fight her in hand-to-hand combat."

"What do you recommend?" Warren asked excitedly.

"The Orbs of Nezzla'khan might do the trick. They're guarded by the Nezzla demons, and only they can cross the barrier into their lair. So, if you can somehow defeat the demons and cross the barrier, the Orbs are yours. Good luck with that."

Warren smiled mischievously. "Don't worry, we're smarter and stronger than you think. Madame, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

Again, Amy rolled her eyes. Keep dreaming, pal.

A few months passed. Things were well, at first. Despite the malfunction of the cerebral dampener, and Warren accidentally killing Katrina, he almost convinced Buffy that she had killed his ex-girlfriend. Later, with the help of a demon, Warren almost got Buffy to kill her friends. Truth be told, Amy had begun to develop feelings for him. But then everything went to hell. Buffy stopped Warren and his associates from robbing an armored car, and literally busted his balls (the Orbs, actually) in the process. Warren escaped on a jetpack, but later "“ in a stupid impulse for revenge "“ went to Buffy's house and shot her with a pistol. Worse, he accidentally shot Willow's girlfriend. Long story short, Willow saved Buffy's life and hunted down Warren.

Now Amy watched, horrified (from the comfort of the Trio's basement lair, with the aid of a crystal ball), as Willow tortured her strung-up boyfriend in a forest in the dark of night. Willow had first slowly driven a bullet through his chest. He plead loudly, presumably for his life. Amy couldn't hear him, because the crystal ball couldn't broadcast sound. In hindsight, she realized it might have been better that way. His screams would have been too much for her to bear. For a brief while, Willow had magically sewn his mouth shut, so he couldn't speak. She eventually released that spell, and Amy was relieved "¦ but not for long. Less than a minute later, as Warren writhed in agony, Willow ripped his skin from his body.

"No!" Amy shouted. She was shocked, and furious. She barely registered that Buffy and her friends had suddenly shown up, and appeared to be pleading with Willow. But then, without warning, Willow gestured at Warren and his body went up in flames. In that very instant, Amy screamed, and seconds late, Warren's skinless body was mere feet from her in the basement. Amy was surprised, and didn't know how she had done that. It must have been reflexive. She immediately cast a spell to put a protective, invisible skin over his body, so he wouldn't die from shock.

"Oh, you're going to pay, bitch," Amy quietly seethed, then burst into tears. Warren looked gruesome, his blood-red muscle glistening, his eyeballs bulging, his teeth permanently exposed. But all Amy felt was grief, and rage. Yes, someday, Willow would pay. No matter how long it took, Amy would have her revenge.
