Where did Faith click better? Buffy or Angel? Post your thoughts here!

I don't know about "click" but I preferred her on Buffy.

I think the light and shade of Faith's interaction with Buffy and the Scoobies is more interesting than her relationship with Angel and the Fang Gang. It's a better contrast...even when they are all on the same page.

She clicks better with Angel because of the whole redemption thing and maybe I see Faith as a bit more of an antagonist but Faith and Angel sitting and chatting about their pain and the lessons they learnt doesn't exactly excite me.

At least on Buffy there was still a little more of a snippet here and there of the bad-ass Faith that we know and love.

Faith most definitely belonged on "Buffy." The interaction between the two Slayers, at least in the early days, was almost as good as that between Spike and Buffy in the later seasons. They just balanced each other out, a sort of yin/yang thing. On "Angel," it was just two people regretting their pasts, bemoaning the evil they did, and the friends (mostly Buffy) they betrayed.

Are you people nuts?
Faith is without doubt an Angel character.
Her darkness is better represented in the hidden qualities of LA while her character progression takes its curves while being worked on by the Vamp with soul.
On Buffy she was a great opposite to everything Buffy stood for and it really worked, but to truly understand the character of Faith and her place in the world, Angel is the place for it.

On Buffy she was hell bent to not just kill Buffy but to destroy her character with friends, family, community etc. like a spoiled teenager.
But on Angel there was character development on an adult level. Though she only had what a half dozen appearences they were damn good shows. I especially liked the interaction with Angelus because it was her ultimate temptation to be the evil person with pure evil and she was willing to sacrifice herself to not redeem herself but bring back Angel a truly good being that fought evil to defeat evil.

Well, Faith is a lot more on BtVS so obviously she is a BtVS character to me. But I can definitely agree that her darkness etc. on Angel is very likeable and interesting.

Even though I really don't like her character and despise her downward fall and murder, I really thought she was best in season 3 of Buffy. She was much more interesting then.

Go figure, huh?

Faith was much better on Angel. Well, in season four. That's my favorite version of Faith, she had come a long way, she was no longer "bad" like she was in Buffy. I never thought of Faith as a true villain but on Buffy she always got the short end of the stick.

I think this world desperately needs a television series about Faith. I think it would be great. There's so much more to that character that needs exploring.

I like Faith on Angel. Faith and Angel have an understanding of each other because they are so similar. Its a shame she had to go to jail, she would have been great to have as a more frequent re-occuring character. IMO Eliza did her best work in Angel.

I liked watching her on Buffy more, but it was Angel that she 'changed' and initiated that change, with the help of Angel ofcourse.

Is the TV reception better in Australia ? 'cos we see things a lot clearer. I totally agree with you.
I'd have to say Angel just because the episodes she was in on Angel were usually centered somewhere around her! I mean Sanctuary was perfection!! Then the three later ones where she completely clicks with Angel's group, and Angel after he's back. People didn't tend to like her on Buffy. Everyone seemed to like her on Angel in season 4.

It was, Cordy's line referring to the fact that both him and his father have a thing for Slayers lol. I really like how 'together' Faith was, considering she was so fresh out of jail. She's a tough girl.

I really have to go with ANGEL. Faith just came into her own on that show especially the season 4 eps, I mean did she not just look right standing on those Hyperion steps? ANGEL hands down.

I have to go with Joss on this one: Eliza took over every scene she was in. Therefore she was great in both. I don't have a preference as to Faith's character. If I HAD to choose, I'd say BtVS just because I like that series better.

I think she was right for both shows. I think young Faith worked better on Buffy, whereas adult Faith worked better on Angel.

Personally, if I had to choose my favorite, I'd choose season 3 Buffy. I just plain looooved Faith's relationship with the mayor. It was beautiful in a creepy sort of way.
