Where did Glory even come from?

I'm watching through season 5 and just came to the episode where glory is introduced. I just wanted to know where she came from. Did she come from another dimension or something of so how did she get to Sunnydale?

Have you watched all of season 5 before, because I'm sure they mention at some point that she comes from a hell dimension and they go into who she was there and how there were two others and I know they definitely cover how she ended up here in our dimension.

Yes I have watched season 5 through many times. I've just forgotten why she turned up in our dimension.

Ah right, haha. Well yeah she got thrown out by two other hell gods and trapped in a human body. And she starts turning up suddenly because she's getting powerful enough to start breaking free of her fleshy prison. 🙂

Yep, what [MENTION=12186]Tuppence[/MENTION] said! I can't remember what episode they say this in (maybe "Checkpoint"?) but it's explained what happened to her and how she came to be in Sunnydale.

I vaguely remember it being after checkpoint, Giles was reading what had been found out about her. Which I'm guessing would have been the info the council left.

I did wonder about the round table in the Magic Shop, maybe Giles privately saw himself as a King Arthur type figure and those who sat at the round table were his knights. But he couldn't say anything, 'cos explaining that to Anya would've taken too long.

Well one of the biggest Arcs and mysteries in season 5 is "Who is Glory, what is she, and where did she come from?" so you've just ruined the season for yourself 🙂
