Where did Xander come from?

In the last episode of this season when dark willow was attempting to destroy the world and xander just suddenly appeared out of nowhere, how did he get there, did willow subconciously bring him to her or was it giles sending him to willow?
 
Well he went to get rope for Buffy and dissapeared, so maybe he saw Willow going to the hill (was it Kayman's Bluff?), or maybe he saw the emerging phallic-tower in the distance. Or maybe it was a place they visited as kids and he though he should go.

But overall, who knows?
 
He's Xander. Does anything Xander does, ever have to be logical. Maybe its like a sixth sense, like a Willow-sense?

I wondered that too, just leaving my smart-ass comment 😀
 
The same way anyone gets anywhere. He walked and his feet moved him to the direction he was headed.

It looked like he just appeared as if by magick, i thought he was summoned or something i am the only one who thought this?
 
She was near the area that she stopped that bus, and didnt Buffy tell Xander where she was or Giles did or was it Anya??? But she wasnt too far from where Xander was, so he went to find her because he knew she was tryin to destroy the world. I loved the end of season 6 it was awesome and so sweet when he kept sayin he loved her and stuff. And it wouldnt of been hard to see that building in the deserty area, and all that energy coming out of it!
 
Yeah, he did kind of appear, but as with all stories, we don't know the actual topography of Sunnydale, so it may have been close by...hell, he could have just jumped in whatever Giles had shown up in from the airport...the bus, maybe? Dunno.

No I never thought magick...I just assumed he knew (in his heart) he had to go there. Or he saw that giant temple rising up outta the ground. One of those too. LOL
 
I am really not sure actually. Good Question. I have always loved this scene. I get tears in my eyes, lol.

You've jogged my memory as i was a bit rusty. He was above the hole that Buffy and Dawn was in when Anya teleported into the hole to tell buffy what the deal was he overheard her say that the only way to stop Willow was to get to her human side and obviously he must have thought he knew how to do that so he ran to where Willow was.

Suddenly Anya appears in front of Buffy, in a shimmer of magic.

ANYA: (looking around) Holy frijole!
BUFFY: Anya! What are you doing here? Where's Giles?
DAWN: Giles?
ANYA: He's still at the magic shop.
DAWN: Giles is back? (Buffy rolling her eyes) You didn't tell me that.
BUFFY: (to Anya) Did he stop Willow?
ANYA: No. And things just got a whole lot worse.

Shot of Xander looking down. He can hear the conversation.

BUFFY: How worse?
ANYA: End of the world worse. Willow's going to destroy it.
DAWN: (amazed) She can do that?
ANYA: She can and she will when she gets to where she's going.
BUFFY: Where's she going?
ANYA: Big old Satanic temple. Kingman's Bluff?

Dawn and Buffy frown.

BUFFY: There's ... no temple on Kingman's Bluff.

Cut to a wide stretch of ground (Kingman's Bluff). Aerial shot of the bluff. A huge steeple begins rising out of the ground, pushing through the earth and rising up at an angle. We see Willow standing a few yards away, holding out her hands toward it. Her eyes are black again.

ANYA Something else Giles said. No magic or supernatural force can stop her.
BUFFY: What does that mean?
ANYA: Don't know. He, he said, "the Slayer can't stop her," and then he said a bunch of other stuff. (anxiously) He really wasn't too clear.
BUFFY: Anya, what are you-
ANYA: (nervous) I ... I should get back to him. He's alone.
BUFFY: (worried) Is he okay?

Thanks i was looking for that info.
Yep that's the part of the episode i was on about i knew that anya had basically told Buffy where and how Willow could be stopped, and that Xander had overheard most of it. Thank you nerd4hire.

I know there is some logical explaination, but I like to believe otherwise. I love Willow's and Xander's friendship. I like to believe that Xander felt in his heart that Willow was in trouble and was about to do something really bad and stupid and that he knew he was the only one that could reach her. And that he followed his heart to her and then he just spoke from her heart. But that's the sap in me's answer.

I totally agree its XANDER! He pops up out of nowhere and in the right "heroic" moments its Xander
 
Well, it looks like nerd4hire answered the question pretty well, that there was no supernatural occurence. Xander knew (from overhearing the others talking) that he was the only one who could help Willow. Yay Xander!!! He and Willow are the best friends ever!
