Where did Xander come from?

I'm just confused. In "Grave" when Xander shows up at the Temple to stop Willow, it looked like he just appeared out of no where. 😕😕

He ran all the way there from the graveyard, when he heard where she was gonna go.

I understand that. It was just weird 'cause it looked like he just appeared in front of the temple. For a second I thought he somehow teleported there.

It happens tons of times in the show. A character will not be anywhere near where they need to be and they'll get there just in the nick of time. They're all just badass heroes like that!

Perhaps he borrowed/stole a car and raced there. Willow smashed up his own car in the woods.

He seemed somewhat tired and out of breath, so I figured he ran, since Willow killed his car.

It's simple, really. He ran from the graveyard, down the street, cut through that corner, stumbled over that big rock, limped down Revello Drive, hijacked Buffy's neighbor's car, drove to the bottom of the Temple, and hiked on up.

No seriously, I don't even know. 😕

The title of this thread made me crack up for some reason. I really never thought about it...perhaps he jogged 😉 or used the same teleportation spell that got Spike to Africa so fast.
