Dearly beloved (oh, you so know you are my beloved) we are gathered here today to talk about series that are on life support or in some case DOA. Here are four shows I would love to see return to schedule next season.
Arrested Development Life with Bonnie
Miss Match Angel: Now begins the denial part of my column. Clearly Angel has staked his last vampire and, despite the heroic efforts of devoted fans, there's not a chance in Hellmouth that the show will return for a sixth season. It is still difficult to think about a television season without a Joss Whedon show. Seriously, where do we go from here?

Returning Faces
That's not the last we've seen of Connor on "Angel." He'll be back for the series finale. And before we say farewell to the series, we will also get to see Darla, Drusilla and Andrew.
They'll Be Talked About but You Won't See Them
Angel and Spike will head to Rome to rescue Buffy from the Immortal on the May 5 episode of "Angel." Alas, Sarah Michelle Gellar will not appear in the episode.
As the Plot Turns
The finale of "Angel" is called "Not Fade Away." Look for battles galore with Gunn back in action. And it's not a Joss Whedon series finale unless someone dies a violent death.
