BtVS? I noticed the show when it was on network television, but in my typical, male, closed-minded way thought that it had to be a campy, silly, juvenile excuse for a show. Wow. Do I owe Joss and all you fans a big apology. This summer, I was looking at "How I Met Your Mother" on wikipedia. I saw that Alyson Hannigan, who I think is the cutest thing ever, was on Buffy. I scanned the Buffy entry on the ole reliable wikipedia, and came to the conclusion that perhaps my initial assessment was far, far off. So, I rented the first season and by the first ten minutes into "Welcome to the Hellmouth", I realized how stupid I had been. The Chosen Collection soon followed. Fast forward to last week, when I finished "Chosen". I just sat there in front of the tv for a half an hour, just taking it all in. I say again, Wow. Now, I'm going through the eps again, and discovered this board. Love the posts I've read and looking forward to chatting with you guys about a show we all love!

WELCOME to the board! I felt the same way as you when I first heard of BTVS... I used to HATE the movie, so when I heard it was going to be a TV show, I was like "No way I'm watching that". Aren't you glad we both changed our minds?! 😀 Buffy ROCKS!!!

Hi bigmoneygrip! :welcome: I´m glad you finally discovered the wonders of Whedonverse so now it´s time for you to first move on to Angel, Firelfy and Dr.Horrible´s sing a long blog. 😀 And getting hooked by AH isn´t hard for me to understand. She´s lovely but for me I first discovered her through Buffy so it´s a bit different.
