So, where have you lived in your life so far? Different counties/states/countries?
If another country, then how long for?
How many times have you moved home?

Me personally, I've moved homes 28 times in my life. I've lived in 2 other countries (Ibiza and France) and 6 different counties. I'm kinda hoping to now have to move again until I am at least in my 70/80's and then into a care home where I can cause a drunken riot!!

That's a lot of moving! Did you take a pill in Ibiza? lol. (it's the name of a song for those that don't know). lol. That's a lot of places to live.

As an adult I've only live in California. When I was a kid I lived in the state of Colorado for a year. But California is a big state. So I lived in the northern area for the past 5 years, and moved back to Southern Cali back in May of this year. Not sure where the future will take me. I'll probably stay in southern California cause that's where my family is. I would love to travel all over though! I have visited a few different countries the only one I'd probably live in is Canada, though. Because I don't speak Spanish. lol.

How long must I have been in one place to have lived there?

If all the moving whilst at Uni, where I hauled loads of belongings around if not all, I've moved 19 times and lived in two countries.

Well it's not about time its where you take all your belongings and live somewhere, could be 2 months could be 20 years :)
Moving is a nightmare... so I have actually only done it once.
I moved out from my parents house to this apartment and that's it.

Guess that's a bit less than most at my age. lol

Have been thinking a bit lately that it might be nice to move to new place but I haven't got around to actually do something about it yet.
Not sure that I ever will either. I don't need much and this place is cheap and good enough for me.

/SK

Moving house? Too many times to count just around the city area growing up, at a guess 20. I've moved around the state a bit, 5 or 6 times - but my state is very large. From where I grew up to where I moved was over 400 km away. I want to move back that way. I lived in Sydney for a short time, not more than 8 months, but have never lived overseas (thats what we fondly call the rest of the world).

Just a few times, Australia, Belgium, Britain (England, Scotland, Wales), France, Germany. And moving about in those countries probably 50 times. Many of those times would have been short duration for ghost hunting, paranormal etc: I did some crazy things back then, the weirdest by far was at the Great White Horse (Uffington) or that is what it was known as. Some folk talk of the hump below its trailing foot as a meeting place for witches of old, some folk refer to it as a werewolf not a horse. It infers a lot more study of the area needs to be made. One rumour existed where the hill contains the dead King Arthur and his Knights they are ready to go to England's defence as and when needed.

I've lived in 12 different houses/apartments, but have only really lived in Maine and California, except for the month I spent in Hawaii.

I was born in Peterborough and lived there for about 25 years. Lived in London for about 6 months in between finding a new home full-time. Have been officially based in Morecambe for 10 years now. Though I went to Uni in Brighton for three years and studied in London for a year recently.

I would like to live in a different country one day. Either somewhere like Germany or the states. At least for awhile to experience a different culture.

I've lived in 5 different places overall. I've travelled all over the world but never settled further than 30 miles away from my family home. 🙂

Lived in lots of different places in Glasgow. Let me see, about nine or ten different flats, including family homes and living with friends and boyfriends.

I moved to Edinburgh around 2010, lived there over a year and had two different flats.

Edit: Just realised it's more than nine or ten, more like twelve, plus the two places in Edinburgh, so, 14(ish).

Well I'm English... I've lived in Hebden Bridge, Halifax, Burnley and York.

I also spent three months in Munich, Germany if that counts.

I have family over in Sydney, Australia and I've been saying I'd quite like to go and spend a few months with them for a while now. Hopefully life will be a bit more stable in the coming years and I can really start thinking about going.

Ooh, I know another BB member from Hebden Bridge!
GwenRaiden, I am sorry but I have heard of another BB member that is from Edinburgh.
So you'll have to find somewhere else to live.

Other than being stationed in San Diego, California and Newport, Rhode Island while in the Navy, I have lived my entire 69 years right here in Rome, Georgia, USA. I've traveled, literally, from pole to pole, and so far East that it turned into West. Been there, done that, and I always come right back here. This is my little spot in the world.
