Where Is Anya!?

Now that Anya is dead where is she now?

I have a thought that she may, but only may, be in a hell demention for when she was a vengance demon. I really hope not but I can't think that she'd be in heaven (Even tho I hope she is!)

So, where is she?
 
I'd hope she'd be somewhere good. I mean, yeah she was a vengeance demon, but she changed and has saved lives. Although she probably destroyed more people than saved more peoples, it's how you are when you die that defines you.
 
Angel saved more lives than Anya and he still went to hell. Anya hasn't saved that many people. She has probably killed more. My guess is that she is rotting in some hell dimension.
 
Anya is like over 1000 years old so she has caused more suffrage. Maybe she is in hell, probably running away from the bunnies.

Hopefully, she's in Heaven, with Tara, Jenny and Joyce...and Tara and Anya have many happy thumb wrestles together...
 
Maybe shes in a vengence demon afterlife dimension. Although when she died she wasn't a vengence demon. The only way she could be in heaven is that she died "fighting the good fight"
 
I think someone's state of mind is more determining for their acceptance into heaven. Both Angel and Anya are essentially good, they have indeed done bad things, but they regret them, those things will be a burden on their consience forever. That alone will be their punishment. They're in fact good, so they will be getting into heaven.
 
Anya didn't seem too burdend by what she had done in season 7. I don't know a lot about vengence demons but they are not like Vampires. Vamps have no soul so they are not the person they were before they were turned. But Anya was the same person she was just turned human. So she can't say it wasn't her that killed all those men.
 
oh well we dont know how you get accepted into heaven anyway so we will never know, theres always a 50/50 chance of her being in heaven or hell.
 
I hope that she gets into heaven but i dont think that theres a very good chance of that happening since she was a vengance demon and all
 
I would like to think she is in heaven, she died a hero. Angel was sucked directly into hell, Anya just died. So I think there's a good possiblilty she's in heaven. As a human she did a lot of good, it can't really make up for the people she hurt and killed, but she went out a hero. Even if you kill one perosn in your lifetime, saving thousands more can never make up for that one life, if there is a heaven I would like to believe people can be forgiven if they try to make it right in the end, no matter how horrible they were before...
 
Again I agree with BillieHunter. Anya died saving someone else...as a human she tried to do good...I'd like to think that her soul went to a decent place. The Angel thing was a bit different with all that was involved...

I don't know about that. As far as I can tell in the Whedonverse vampires lack a soul which means:
  1. They are a demon in a human body with human memories; they have the mind and memories but not the essence of the person who was vamped
  2. They have no sense of morality. Spike in Buffy Season 6 couldn't tell right from wrong when relating to her and it completely tortured him
Vengence demons are obviously somewhat human, but they are humans with bad demons inside of them. As a vengence demon Anya has serious problems with morality; she doesn't feel guilt for what she does as a vengence demon until after she turned human. It doesn't make sense for Anya to be a nice human being and an amoral vengence demon unless there is some mechanism opperating when she is a vengence demon. My guess is that being a vengence demon supresses her empathy for anyone but wronged women, but what ever is suppressing her feelings doesn't work as well the second time around.

I don't know where she is, but I don't expect the universe to be fair in Buffy or Angel. W&H literally owns Lilah now that she is dead. Theoretically, if a W&H employ saved the world he or she wouldn't go to heaven unless the Senior Partners sent him or her there. So I guess that I'm saying that the world isn't fair and we don't know enough about the Powers that Be to really speculate where Anya went. Buffy went to heaven though, even though her friends were convenced that she had fallen into a hell demension. That gives me some hope for Anya, or Faith for that matter.
 
Can Vengeance Demons even Die? Wouldnt you think she would go back to the reality she came from when she wasnt human? I highly doubt she went to Heaven... I also doubt she went to hell. The are so many alternate realities in BtVS world that it would be stupid of us to even try to imagine where she is.
