Quick summary: Anya became a vengence demon again after Xander left her. Basically she started out trying to make everyone else wish vengence on Xander (S6.) Then she gave up on Xander and somewhat forgave him. (is that possible for a vengence demon?) During S7 she started out half heartedly doing vengence, but Anya wasn't fully commited to hurting people. Maybe because she can only be fully guided by the demon inside of her if she doesn't fight back? Anya ended up killing several fraternity boys by granting the wish of a girl who were tormenting (not phsically) who wished that they would have their hearts ripped out. Anya unleased a giant spidermonster that killed them. Basically, Willow finds out what happened. Buffy then decides to kill Anya. Xander wants to stop her. Buffy and Anya fight and then Buffy sticks a sword through Anya's heart which hurts Anya but does no lasting damage. Willow summons D'Hofran (I have no idea how to spell it) and Anya asks to take back what she did. Anya knows that the only way to reverse the spell is for a vengence demon to die. In other words she is willing to die for what she did in order to make it right. Instead of killing Anya, D'Hofran summons and then kills her friend who is also a vengence demon and then makes Anya human in order to hurt her. That's basically how Anya became human the second time. I'm doing this from memory so if there are any mistakes I appologize.

She didn't feel guilty for killing anyone that she killed before season 3. and the fact that she felt guilty when she was a vengence demon proves that the demon doesn't take her over... I'm guessing it's kinda like what happened to Cordy. And Anya did destroy someone when she was a human, even though she didn't kill him... Does anyone remember Olaf... and is she so scared of bunnies now if she loved them so much when she was human?

... and she didn't die protecting anyone. Andrew lied to Xander. and one last thing... I think she is in... i don't have any idea. I wish Joss would find a way to tell us these things. I love Anya so much. Why did she have to die? Oh i miss her so much. More than Cordy... which doesn't make sense, becuase I like them equally... Oh i miss her... I'm getting teary. ::crying:: :: spam :: :: spam2:: Wtf is up with the span? LOL... what was I talking about again... la la la la la.
More proof that 'de Niles not only a river in egypt.

What do you mean by the Cordy comment is it in Angel S4 with Jasmine? Plus, I'm not saying that the vengence demon takes over, just that it suppresses human instincts of compassion. D'Hofran (how do you spell that?) chooses really hurt and angry women to make into vengence demons. Maybe the demon helps to preseve that state of mind? I wouldn't say that Anya hurt Olaf; he really liked being a troll.

What I mean is that Cordy got the demon in her so her visions wouldn't kill her. She didn't change, she just had powers... and I get what you mean, and maybe you're right. I'll ask Sarah next time I talk to her.

I love them both too. Anya's death way meaningless and shocking; Cordy's death was meaningless but not shocking and she got to say goodbye. Maybe that's why. Personally I miss the equally.

Its not the same thing.
I think the demon was Jasmine because Skip Cordy's guide in the episode was working for Jasmine. And more importantly it had to be a very powerful demon. Doyle was half demon and he got terrible, painful headaches from his visions. After Cordy got the demon in her she didn't have any ill effects from the visions. Plus, Cordy was in a coma and was told by Skip that she would never wake up and die with her next vision if she didn't become part demon. After Jasmine was born Cordy slipped back into a coma
she never awakened and then died. I think the visions killed her because she wasn't part demon anymore.

I would like to ask you how you do that Spoiler: Hightlight to view... thing

and that is a great theory, and I love you for it. In other words... good point and I agree.

I figured it out on my own. You use the bracket things like they put around the quotes when you quote someone. bracket SPOILER bracket then what you want to say followed by bracket/SPOILER bracket. Sorry if it's confusing I can't type the brackets or it will code as a spoiler.
