Where the hell is Alexis?

He is a great actor, Wesley was one of the best characters from the show.
And the last thing he worked on was on How I Met Your Mother, playing Sandy River, he was hillarious there.
What's wrong with the world???

Do you know if he's acting on something?
 
Wasn't he having health problems at the end of Angel?
Perhaps he still is.

He was quite ill, but apparently he's recenty recovered from it.
In a recent interview with his wife Alyson in People Magazine (I will have to look it up), she said that he has gotten over the BP and has gotten a lot better. I never believed it was the BP that was keeping him from working. I think it is his marriage to Hannigan that is preventing him from working. The reason I think this is because when he was doing the play All My Sons in England, she said in an interview that she did not like him being away from her and doing the play. So I guess to make her happy he gave up his career for hers. She did say that he is a very good cook, and all her friends like coming over to eat at their house. Also in one of the last Buffy/Angel Magazines, the producers of HIMYM said that he likes to hang around the set a lot. Maybe he brings goodies he has cooked to the Teamsters and other workers on the set. I also noticed that there is a lot of performers that are working today (including several A-List stars) that also suffer from the effects of Bell's Palsy. Hasn't stopped them from working.

But he can work in LA, I understand that he refuses to work abroad, if that's the case, but he should being offered things in America, he's great.
 
He wasnt sick at the end of Angel was he? I'm fairly sure he had bells palsy between filming of seasons 4 and 5. In the first episode of season 5 they try disguise it, but if you look really closely you can see that one side of his face is 'without power', so to speak.

But that went, normal fliming resumed. If he regained the nerve power in his face then that must mean the BP is no more, I mean thats what BP is right?

Anyway, having no feeling on one side of you face isnt exactly a legitimate reason to not work.

I don't know why Alexis isn't working, but I think its a terrible shame. I think he was easily one of the most talented actors on Buffy and Angel. His transition from goofy Wesley to Darth Wesley was a joy to watch. And everything in between was just expertly executed.

If it came down to a choice between Alexis and Alyson for which one of them has the most talent and therefore should be working, then personally I think he wins by a long, long way.
 
I agree! He is more skilled at acting and better trained than Hannigan! But I do have some good news to tell you! It seems our boy is going to appear at the Buffy/Angel Palooza on the 20 & 21 of Sept. in Melbourne, Australia, along with Mark Sheppard. Maybe someone who is going will ask him why he hasn't been working lately.

Whoops! Now the site where I got the information says that the Buffy Palooza has been canceled due to lack of Buffy guests. Bummer!
 
I've been wondering where he's been too. I think he may be the most talented actor to come out of either series and yet, now he's just MIA.
 
Well, he wouldn't be the only one we don't hear much about these days. Like, when have you last seen Charisma have a real role?
 
She just had a guest starring role on Greek. She may not be a regular on any show but she has been popping up everywhere after Angel ended. She had a regular guest appearance on Veronica Mars, Greek, and Charmed.

There's some new paparazzi pictures of him all over the net. He's been seen on Sept. 13 with Hannigan at a Starbucks in Brentwood CA drinking coffee. I think somebody needs to start up a "Bring Back Alexis Denisof To Our Screens" or a "Save Alexis Denisof" petition web site. I would do it, but my computer knowledge is limited. I think he and Andy H. are the only Jossverse actors I know of that are not working anymore (although I did see a commercial that had an actor that sounded and looked a lot like Andy!) And yes, CC does have a job on Greek. So she's not hurting careerwise!

I miss Alexis terribly. I really wish he'd get a new series... I, personally, think he might be good on "House". 🙂
 
Looks like we probably won't be seeing him in any acting rolls in the upcoming future on our screens, because he will be busy changing diapers and being MR. MOM! BUMMER!!!!

I bet Alyson will continue acting though, the bread-winner and that.

I miss Alexis and Andy. Andy's been MIA more so than Alexis.

Bring back both guys!
 
Well, I guess after yesterdays news, that answers the question where Alexis has been. 😉
