Hey all!

If you had the money, the time and the possibily to travel anywhere in the world- where would you choose to go?
Would you go alone? For how long? More extreme-backpacking and exploring or margaritas on the beach type of trip? City or Nature?

I'm packing for my short trip to Amsterdam at the moment. Would say I'd love to visit Japan with my sister, and probably want to rent a van and roadtrip my way in north America someday.

I'd love to go to New York. I've been twice already, but I want to go again. Earlier this year I went to Iceland and loved it, and would love to tour Scandanavia. I have a friend who's just moved out to Jamaica and I'm waiting for her to invite me for a visit, guess I'll have to keep dropping the heavy hints

I can't offer housing, but I can offer a great tour guide if you ever come to the Denmark part of Scandanavia :D
Gosh so many places! Off top of my head: Machu Picchu, Teotihuacan, Ireland, Scotland, France, well all of Europe, Badlands, Denali, Yellowstone, Yosemite, etc...

We're planning a cruise in August from Seattle, Washington to Anchorage, Alaska. The North Pacific is the only sea that I haven't sailed on previously and will be my first time as a passenger. I would also like to take an auto trip with no time limit, across the Southern U S to California, then up the coast, back along the Northern states, then back down the Atlantic coast to Georgia, but that may be too ambitious an undertaking.

Always wanted to visit Japan or New Zealand. Climate close to that of the UK but some stunning scenery (Yes the UK has that too but I've seen most of that).

I want to see the Northern half of Australia. Specifically waaay up north WA and into NT. If I was rich enough to travel that far, I guess I could stretch it to QLD too. Although I would choose a mild weather time.

I am at high risk for blood clots so flying is not so suitable, plus I get majorly travel sick, so boats are probably out too. Good thing my home island is a big one!

I highly recommend snorkeling the Ningaloo Reef at Exmouth. It takes 18 hours driving straight from Perth (went on a bus once)

Me and my band fam are planning a road trip at the moment to go to Alice Springs (the dead centre of Australia). I'd love to go to America though, and NZ.

Amsterdam, Tokyo, Oslo, Milan...though I dream of actually MOVING to Australia, Denmark, or Cornwall.

Yes, come to Denmark, please, I need someone to 'lunch' with ;)
Yukon, Nunavut, Northwest Territories in Canada (that I haven't visited), and revisit the Maritimes.

Outside of the country I really want to go to Iceland.

Iceland was fantastic, highly recommend it
I'd like to see much of the world, and have an interest in both the natural places (woods, highlands, etc) and historical. I also have an interest in places where my ancestors came from, though I just want to see those places and go home. I also have many close email friends from around the world I'd like to see, and there's one I'm actually planning for when I think I can get away with it.

Anywhere really. Just take a car and I am off to see the world. One of my biggest dreams as of now is to do a very long roadtrip through the uk by car. Just drive to places I want to see.

Oh so many places! I love travelling, so have already planned several trips over the next couple of years! Iceland is high on my list too, but I would love to travel throughout Europe and into Asia and stop and volunteer at places along the way. Not at some farm or something that doesn't really need it, but it the poor areas that really need the help. Would love to go back to South America and do the same there too, then finish it off by going through the US and Canada

I've been to some amazing places (New Zealand was the most magical place I've ever been to!) but so far the far east has evaded me. I'd love to visit Japan, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bali. I'd also love to go to Iceland (hopefully later this year) and travel more around Europe too.

Sometimes you just need to book the flight. I've always been afraid of travelling alone, but I booked a flight and I'm off on a solo long weekend soon and whilst I'm nervous about it, I think it'll be fun. Sometimes adventure just needs a push. 🙂

There's so many places that I'd love to see, but I think my first choice would be the UK, followed by France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy (60% history, 40% food, though wait, maybe a little bit of football, I'll get back to you on this. 😀 )

Can't say much about the football (really not my game), or the food for that matter....but we've sure got the History!
The town I live near was founded in the 10th Century...but there was a settlement of sorts there in Stone-age times.....and not too far away, on the coast, is a pretty much complete Roman fort with a Norman Keep built into one corner (it was where Henry V embarked on the ships that took him to France leading up to the Battle of Agincourt).

Plus the landscape from Southern England to Northern Scotland is some of the best in the world....well worth a visit!

No I don't work for the British Tourist Board...... 😉😛

Hang on the Roman fort might have been built in 50 - 100 BC and it has a Norman Keep? that is 1070 AD at the earliest possible date.
