If you could live anywhere in the world, no migration complications or cash worries, where would you choose?

Let me be the first, I live in Western Australia. We got lotsa snakes here plus we've names for them all. Although it is a tad confusing as they are named Brian, that and they don't understand English, tee hee.
 
Well in America, I'd say Pittsburgh or Philadelphia. If elsewhere maybe Paris, London, Tokyo or Kyoto? 🤔

Where I live now, but in the 90s.

I actually like where I live, but it's slowly turning into a place with not enough infrastructure all the new houses being built. Take it back a few decades to the late 90s, when the new hospital and doctors were just built, and I'd live here then.

I like where I'm living in the middle of the U.S. it's big enough to have just about anything I would need or want but not so big to have the problems that most big cities have. And if I do want some city excitement I'm only a couple hours away in either direction from two major metropolis's. Can go shooting or fishing any time I want with only a few miles drive. Pretty close to the perfect place for me.

I second this! I wish I could live in my city of the '80s or '90s. I suppose I'm just getting old and curmudgeonly, but it has become a lot more expensive, pretentious, and losing all the classic small businesses that I loved.
 
I was eying off the Mornington Peninsula cos it never gets over 40C there (according to the internet) but then the internet told me it has a high crime rate. So now I'm second guessing that one.
 
I am quite happy with where I am in Mississauga, just two miles west of Toronto. Yes, our government sucks but that can be said in just about any place in the world and life is expensive, but that's the value of the dollar going down, not the price of goods and services going up and that is universal, too.

I already answered this differently, but I would also like to try Sweden, as I have ancestry there. Scotland for the same reason. But I'd love to try living anywhere in Europe or Australia/New Zealand. Someplace that would be new, but the culture not so unfamiliar that I'd feel completely wrong-footed.
 
As someone who lives in Sweden now... I would move to a warmer place.
If money etc. wasn't a problem I would totally base my decision on the weather.
I like to live at place that has a temperature around 25C all year. A decent amount of rain so it isn't a desert, but no daily rains. Just enough so stuff can grow and survive.
Also no natural disasters like earthquakes, hurricanes and stuff like that. Preferable no dangerous animals like spiders and snakes either.

Does that exists?
