You know the picture you click on in the main page to get here. What episode is that picture from?

I think it's from "Forgiving." I haven't seen it, but I've read it's when Angel tries to smother Wes.

I have to disagree with you there ana8, i don't think Wes deserved it. I understand the anger that Angel felt but Wes was doing what he thought was right, we all know he made a TERRIBLE mistake and he should have communicated with Angel about what he found out but I still don't think Wes deserved to be (nearly) kill.

Anyone could have made they mistake, he thought Angel was going to kill Connor, he was just trying to protect Connor and do what he thought was right. I understand Angel's reaction, but i dont think Wesley deserved it. That was a good episode, and i did like the scene the pic was from. I saw it and was like that when he was trying to smother Wesley!! lmao.

The way S3 worked out was stunning, every little event made it so gripping. The whole Wes prophecy thing took the character so far and it makes us like him even more. I am so glad Wes did not get killed off, I would not of been a happy bunny if he ended up dead.

I am with you,...
Wes was wrong but he didn't do it because he wanted to hurt Angel,he only wanted to save Connor...

I just saw this episode yesterday on TNT, its a great episode, and it really makes you feel for Wesley, although some people probably feel very bad for him, while others are probably cheering Angel on in the end. It was a gripping, exciting episode.

"Forgiving" was one of the very first episodes of Angel that I had watched and it made me fall in love with the show. ana8, Wes didn't *deserve* it. It's something that's always happening in the Buffyverse; Buffy had to kill Angel to save the world, Giles had to kill Ben to keep Glory from coming back, Angel had to return his humanity for Good, and the blood of the Key must stop flowing in "The Gift." Wesley did what he thought was right and meant for Connor to be save. Sure, he could've maybe told Angel about it, but he was torn with guilt for betraying his friend...

This thread was started as a question, but suddenly it's turned into a discussion, lol. Is this technically off-topic?

Wesley didn't deserve it, he did the right thing, why else do you think the episode is called Forgiving?

I hadn't seen this episode before, but I missed it! I went out and forgot to tape it. I guess I'll have to wait until it's on the WB...January 19th at midnight. Maaaaann....
