I love season two.....i think on a whole this season worked better then the first and gave a fantastic look t how later seasons would run.

So i have one question.
Which of these events in the Season affected you more.

Drusilla Killing Kendra

Angelus Killing Jenny

Buffy Killing Angel


For me its Angelus killing Jenny....not because of her death BUT because of the subsequient actions of the entire gang.....and how Giles found Jenny....that ripped my heart out and stamped all over it.
 
Definetly Angelus killing Jenny.This really broke my heart because everyone had been mad at her and they never really forgave her while she was alive.
 
I agree. Angelus killing Jenny let us know that Angel was indeed gone. Even though we knew it already this just let us know that everything we heard about Angelus was true. He was a vicious evil monster.
 
Its just the entire set up...Angelus has perfectly laid out something so beautiful....then totally kills it...we know whats coming and it still smacks us harder then a juggernaut hitting a hedgehog.
 
it was awful when angelus killed jenny, but the thing that really broke my heart in this ep is when buffy and willow found out, and angelus watching through the window. the image of buffy sliding to the floor and joyce embracing willow was so heart renching...made all the more painful by the smile on angelus' face as he watched.
 
Angelus Killing Jenny... I liked her as a character and as a love interest for Giles.
 
It's a tough decision between Angelus killing Jenny and Buffy killing Angel.

They both affected me a lot but for different reasons so it's hard to pick between them.

I think with Kendra it wasn't as bad because we didn't really get a chance to really get to know her that well so it was sad, but it wasn't like losing an old friend you know?

Angelus killing Jenny... but mostly because of how Giles found her... although the neck-snapped was pretty impressive too.
 
well, I cried more when Buffy killed Angel. Looks like I'm alone in this. Of course Jenny's death was sad and awful and all. But I felt more in Angel's death. And I'm a Spuffy (which isn't hard to guess by my nickname.

I cried way more when Buffy killed Angel too.
The best part of the whole season was Buffy killing Angel.

I agree that Angelus/Jenny was definitely affecting, but I just enjoyed the Buffy kills Angel scenario much better.

Giles finding jenny by far, my favourite Buffy moment.

The look on his face, the opera music, the scenario and the assault with a flaming piece of wood.

All very affecting moments, truly great TV. But Buffy killing Angel was one of the few times in my adult life when I cried. Not like a sissy-girl mind you (I'm imagining you all thinking I was like Ben Stiller near the end of There's Something About Mary) it was more of a manly tear or two. Excuse me, I've just got something in my eye...
 
Angelus killing jenny for me, but buffy killing angel comes at a close second
 
Definitely Angelus killing Jenny, because it was so sad that Giles found her like that. *tear* Drusilla killing Kendra didn't affect me that much, since I never really liked Kendra. And Buffy killing Angel wasn't that bad, either.
 
Buffy killing Angel.... that was sooo sad.. buffy having to kill the love of her life and he didnt even know wat had happened and he got his soul back and then buffy lost her lover, the relationship with her mum and left home.... 🙁 But Angelus killing jenny was sad too but buffy killing angel affected me way more!!!
 
buffy killing angel....it wouldnt have been so bad if angel had still been evil
 
It has to be Buffy killing Angel. It wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't come back from been Angelus at the last minute.

I wanted to cry. Buffy had been wanting that to happen all season and then the moment he comes back she has to kill him.
 
I can honestly say the three are tied.

I loved Kendra because she pulled the whole Slayer mythos into the picture, and I felt that her and Buffy were really gaining some Slayer closeness. It sucked so bad when she died.

Oh, and don't get me started on Jenny. Poor Giles. Poor, poor Giles.

Buffy killing Angel was heart wrenching. I keep thinking, "What if I had to kill my boyfriend to save the world?" Ugh. It bites the big one, right there.
 
Wow!! Tough decision, I would probably say Buffy killing Angel. It was just such a touching, heart wrenching, self- sacrificing moment. I cried like a baby when I watched that. I have see the ep only like 12 million times, and it still gets me every time I watch it.

But, when Angelus killed Jenny was really bad too, that has got to be one of my favorite episodes of the whole series. Jenny was such a good character, and she and Giles were great together. The thing that sucks, is as soon as ANY (Not just Jenny and Giles) character that has needed to get together for awhile does, Joss kills one of them. And that was another thing that made it hard, was Giles and Jenny finally got past all of their issues about each other and their past, and she gets murdered like that. Poor Giles!!! That whole scene is tear-jerking, and I cry like a baby in "Passion" too.

As for Kendra, I really liked her. And she was starting to bond with Buffy a lot, which is really important cus poor Kendra never had any friends. And the thing that gets me, is when Buffy finds her. And her reaction, she is so upset. And its really sad.

They are all very touching moments, and very important as well. But when it comes down to it, Buffy killing Angel, gets me the most. Every Time.
