Which Affected you more?

Buffy killing Angel deffinitely affected me more. I think it was the fact we were given this flase hope that Willow would be able to return Angel's soul, and then the whole apocalypse started, and Angel DID get his soul back, but Buffy killed him anyway. The fact that there was such a build-up to their relationship, and it took them so long to get together made it worse. Also, just how noble Buffy was about the whole thing - she knew it was right thing to do, and she did it even though she loved Angel.

I think Drusilla killing Kennedy would come in second, because I wasn't really expecting it.

Erm they were all upsetting events but I would have to say Angelus killing Jenny not because I like Jenny but because Gillies walked up to his room to find her dead and he was expecting a romantic night.

For me it was totally Buffy killing Angel she had already lost so much nd than on top of that she ended up having to kill the love of her life after he had gottin his soul bac :bawling: it was so tragic i couldnt stop cryin...

I would have to say Angel killing Jenny. It was so cruel, and for me so unexpected. My feeling when I first saw it was just dumb shock-sort of like "you can't do that-her story is so unfinished!" I dunno, maybe Buffy killing Angel would have affected me more if I didn't know that Angel would be coming back one way or another. I don't know what I would have thought if I'd actually been watching "Becoming Pt. II" the first time it was broadcast, way back in 1998.

I liked Kendra a lot, wish we could have seen more of her but when Drusilla disposed of her my reaction was more puzzlement than anything else. I couldn't believe that Drusilla disposed of a vampire slayer so easily.

My reaction to Kendra dying was joy, not because I disliked Kendra (i thought she was rather bland though) but because it showed how freaking awesome Dru is.

i thought that Angelus killing Jenny was the worst,i thought the scene where he chases then kills her was pretty bad,but it just got worse because of the way that Giles found her and how he was so happy when he thought that she was upstairs waiting for him for a romantic evenin and to find her dead like that destroyed him,it would destroy anyone.i thought it was even sader when Willow and Buffy found out that Jenny was dead.how buffy slid to the floor and Joyce was higging Willow.you could see from Buffys face how bad she felt for not being able to stop it from happening.i think that scene was made more dramatic by Angelus standing outside the window watchin their lives be messed with, and how he was talkin about passion.that scene really touched me.

I'm going to have to go with Buffy killing Angel. It hurt Buffy so much, and subsequentally hurt me as well. Just watching that scene, the power, the love and all of the emoitions, it just killed me. Then hearing "full of Grace" by Sarah Mclachlan... it tore me apart. But the other two were sad as well, in there own ways.

Definitely Angelus Killing Jenny...it was so brutal and the scene he left for Giles to find her in was so horrifying;y cruel...this eppy makes me upset every time i see it...but its also one of the most amazing episodes ever written in my opinion

Yes totally agree BillieHunter. Its definately in my fave list.
Its just so amazing to watch as you don't quite believe Angelus will kill her, that Buffy will arrive in time....then nothing.
Followed by teh most heartbreaking scene on TV...Giles finding Jenny

and when Giles broke down in tears it was heart breaking!!
Definately Angelus killing Jenny. Poor Giles face when he gets home and knows shes in his bed. He looked SO happy. Til he found her. And to see Giles lose it like that.

I still cant watch that episode. Think Ive only ever seen it 3 times.

ive already posted on here saying that Angelus killing Jenny was the worst but i also think that Buffy killing Angel was soo emotional i mean when watching that scene you could just feel the pain, love and hurt that was going through Buffy. And then to make it more emotional they play Full of grace by Sarah McLachlan when Buffy is watchin the gang and leaving Sunnydale.i think this makes it more emotional for me because i find that music always adds more emotion to the scene whether its a good or bad emotion.the fact that they used a Sarah McLachlan song is perfect as she does some of the best emotional songs around, which i think the Buffy crew people realised as they also use Prayer of Saint Francis by sarah McLachlan in the episode 'Grave'.So as i was saying i think both Angelus killing Jenny and Buffy killing Angel are both really good and emotinal scenes.

buffy and angel...coz felt really bad for buffy having to do that, though she knew angel was back ...... would have taken enormas strength to do that...

I would have to choose Angelus killing Jenny, it a brutal death and it affected me , big time. it was one of those episodes that showed you how brutal and cruel Angelus could be.

For me this is def a hard one between Angelus killing Jenny and Buffy killing Angel. They both affected me alot but in different ways. I've a lot of what people have said about Angelus killing Jenny and I pretty agree with all of them. It was especially sad when Giles found her and when Buffy and Willow found out.

I think I'm still going to have to go with Buffy killing Angel though. Just the way they had it all set up to where he just got turned back right before she was about to kill him. If she would have just killed Angelus it would still have been sad because Angel would be gone along with him but it wouldn't have been nearly as sad as it was. I cried my eyes out at that scene and I don't cry especially not for TV shows.

They were all pretty difficult to watch..when Buffy killed Angel..to me it was different then finding jenny, and kendra dead.. I found Kendra's one of the worse..besides Jenny..I had really started to like her..and Buffy finally had someone she could relate to ..who understood her..and Kendra just seemed so young..innocent..and just inexperienced..I mean I think what I found most disturbing about it was that..she was just a child....and obviously Buffy was also..but these two were just merely children..that didn't ask for this role..in life..it's just sad.

ya angelus killing jenny was really the worst one cuz it was really graphic and the fact that he did it out of pure fn, and how he mocked Giles and Jenny's realtionship like that, it just showed how horrible he could be, and it really messed up giles in the head...it was horrible.

definetly angelus killing jenny. i was shocked & kinda mortified. i felt so bad for her & giles. that scene where buffy punches giles & tells him she needs him made me lose it! but the same goes for buffy killing angel too. so many good moments in s2!

I was more effected by Buffy killing Angel and watching him go into the hell dimention just when she had got him back too.

It is a very close call between Angelus killing Jenny, and Buffy killing Angel. Those moments were both absoloutley heartbreaking.

I just couldn't imagine being in Giles situation. Imagine finding the person you loved brutally murdered. I can't watch the scene where Giles finds Jenny. It makes me feel so awful. It is such a powerful and emotional scene, and you can feel his pain.

On the other hand, you can feel Buffy's pain too when she is forced to kill the man she loved. I couldn't have done it. He was back, and couldn't remember anything he had done. His confusion and shock at what his lover had just done to him really pulled at my heartstrings. I couldn't have done that to him. The strength that it must have taken. It's just awful.

Hmmmm...Okay, I am going to say that it was Buffy killing Angel that affected me most. But maybe that's just because I have only seen the episode where Angelus killed Jenny once, so I don't really think about it much anymore.

Drusilla Killing Kendra- was shocking as drusilla bagged herself a slayer, but we hadn't really gotten close enough to kendra to feel much of a loss.

Angelus Killing Jenny- I think the most shocking. I wasn't expecting her to get killed and the giles setup at his apartment i thought that scene was amazing. spot on acting.

Buffy Killing Angel- Although great and a good ending, was expecting it. i think the unexpected affects you more, obviously as the expected you prepare yourself for.

Therefore Angelus killing Jenny affected me most. Although we didnt know jenny that well shed been on our screens long enough to have thought of her as part of the gang. As death scenes go, pretty great. The fact that her neck was snapped, an abrupt death was genius. But Anthony head is what made this death affect me the most. If giles is hurt, I'm hurt. Plus his attack on angelus for revenge after was totally cool, then when buffy hits him. that was a great episode.

*goes to watch episode*
