Which Avenger was the best cast?

I had a hard time deciding between Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man or Chris Hemmsworth as Thor. Both were just awesome in their roles in "The Avengers" and in their individual movies.

RJD for sure, he just is that character.

I think Chris H. has the hardest job cuz Thor is so different and he's brilliant as him, so he'd be a really close second

Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man. It doesn't even surprises me that he went through half the movie "improvising" his lines.

Robert Downey Jr., no doubt. He doesn't even really seem to have to act for some scenes. And on top of that he's a really great drama actor. Tony Stark and Robert Downey Jr. = perfect fit.

I love the actor who played hulk. He's my absolute all time favorite super hero but the avengers was the first time I really felt an actor did his character justice in a film. No offense to Eric Bana nor Edward norton, both of whom I think are brilliant actors, but they're no hulks. 🙂

And Robert downey jr is probably one of the best character actors of our time. I can't think of any movie I've seen him in where I didn't fully believe he was the character he portrayed.
