Which BB members have you met in real life..?

People keep mentioning this in threads like "who do you want to get to know".. But I thought I'd start a thread (feel free to delete if there's already a thread or if you find it pointless).
So, the thread-title kinda speaks for itself I guess, but who have you met? And who are you planning to meet..? Because I don't even know who of you live far from eachother or close or whatever, so I was just wondering.
 
The only one I have met is JenRosenberg49, she's my best friend. That's it, even though I would like to actually meet others!
 
I haven't met anyone. Well, I have met eudial 'cause we were in the same class when we were younger, but none of us (I believe) were Buffy fans at the time.. or BB members. (I'm thinking I'll probably meet Fran (doppelgänger) soon though.)

I went to New York on vacation and spent two weeks with Buffy Summers and she was everything that I thought she would be and more. Like Buffy said we met up with Cordelia and Jacklyn and caused some havoc in town 😀

I was worried as I realised I was flying quite a distance to meet these people and what if it wasn't how it was when we talked online? But there was nothing to worry about, I just didn't want to come home!

Soon I shall be meeting elmo as we live quite close. And perhaps i'll meet Xander and Emma Caulfield at the Collectormania event.

Ugh! You bet you're gonna. You know my playstation is so waiting for your Buffy dvd's. And I'm even gonna order pizza with no cheese for ya :winking15

Cheese-less pizza is the only way to live! And my dvds long for your playstation Fran, they're looking at me with sad eyes (?) saying I'm just not good enough for them anymore
I met Taco Boy and Quazar. Taco Boy is a real idiot(I've known him for 2 years), and Quazar is the smart one.
 
Prior to Faith arriving in New York to meet the others, I briefly met up with Jacklyn and her husband for the first time. Nice lady....but she was just a little too quiet for my taste. 😉😛

I'm kidding of course. She's exactly the way she is online...fun, warm, friendly, a bit on the nutty side, which is a good thing.....just an all around wonderful gal. And if I may also add, quite a good-looking gal to boot. (that was just an innocent compliment, Fred....don't send the hubby after me.....😛😛).
 
How about Cordelia is so pushy, trying to get me to visit her and all. I had to step back when she actually mailed me a plane ticket -- even odder was that it was only a flight to New Jersey, no return flight. 😛

nope, but i have to say i would very much enjoy a night in a quiet pub having a good chat with Pointy, old master, elmo and allycat with 'gasm and a translator so we dont have to stare blankly everytime he mentions his falk.

of course geographically this would all have to take place somewhere in the middle. which sounds moist.

I'll never forget our lil day of fun 🙂 It was such a great day and all the girls are exactly the way they appear to be and more.

We were all pretty good with names too, well, except for the incident in the store... 😀
 
lol day of fun how about day of destruction...oh wait..no its just me that applies to. And i'm sorry it was one time, and I was distracted as I was at the cash register. 😀
 
Me it, just give me time 😉 Fingers crossed I get into this course then it means I can move abroad. Although New Zealand sounds pretty good.

Don't run away from me!!!!
I was just wondering.. When I joined this board about six months ago, there was a lot of talk about a BB reunion or something, did you just realize that wasn't a realistic plan or what happened? (Not that I'd be able to go but still, seemed like such a fun idea.)
 
It'd be realistic if it were planned correctly...as in not just one location, but having a few locations where people could meet up...
 
The best way is just to organise with a group of friends if it is feasible. I was only able to meet up with them as I had planned the vacation for a while. Sadly I can't just jump on a plane to New York to meet with friends.
 
Haven't met anyone except my sister and her friend and they don't spend so much time on the board.

So here's a question for all of you who have met eachother, wasn't it weird?
I have a couple of friends that I've never seen in person, but whom I am really close to on the net, but just the idea of meeting them in real life is just as scary as the first day in school. I mean here is someone you know really good in one way, but at the same time you know nothing about them and then to met them in person. Don't know why, but I do think I'd become the most shy person ever.
 
I thought it was going to be weird, but it so wasn't. It was really just like hanging out with any of my "real" friends.

I was scared we'd all be different in person and wouldn't have anything to talk about, but that was so not the case 🙂
